It seems well built, time will tell but is not portable.

This one was not as sturdy and well-built as I had hoped; but, it serves the purpose.

It was what I wanted, it is well built, simple to use (just flip-up the seat to access the steps), and wide enough.

The white color is so clean and looks great in the kitchen

I wish there were more color selections but the white works for mom

I also used the opportunity to add a cool color that goes with my kitchen.

I can finally reach my top cabinets and the chair looks good enough to have out in the open without being an eye sore, I love the color and how easy it is to fold the steps out when needed.

Perfect height to sit at my hobby table and when I need to reach supplies on the top shelf of the closet the steps work for that as well.

Cheap materials, steps are not spaced out well enuf (tripping hazard) and you have to take the seat off to put the backrest on, then reinstall the seat

The low first step is perfect for me to reach spots high in the cupboard and the second step has helped me to hang curtains.... exactly what I was needing

We selected this stool to replace the less expensive Cosco Chair/Step Stool with the lift-up seat and stationary steps, but that model was a horrible product -- very wobbly, unsafe, difficult to assemble, and the padding split easily

Also lay the legs on the floor and be careful that the screw is going directly in and not out the side so as not to scratch the leg.
