It has memory material and can be shaped to fit your head for the best comfort ever
Drummers who need isolation headphones that are comfortable to wear, especially if you have a wider head, likely will appreciate the comfort of these headphones
Comfort: good, but sweat moisture on the earmuffs after long use
Comfort on the head and around the ears is very good as well
I picked these up to protect my hearing when playing acoustic drums, and they really do work as advertised
I got these headphones with the intent of using them for band practice (I play in a metal band) both to protect my hearing and play a metronome through them
These have done wonders to protect my hearing while also letting my hear what is going on in the recording mix even when I am bashing behind the drums with an physically assaulting level of guitar in my face at the same time
so you don't damage your hearing by accidentally turning up the volume too loud (the directions warn you about listening to the volume louder than medium on your device for extended periods).
I would stay away from these, as it's really easy to find much nicer professional headphones with longer warranties that aren't constructed poorly starting a moderately higher price than what these cost

The company does sell replacement parts, but don't bother trying to replace any headband related parts after they fail, because it's basically impossible to reattach everything
This was surprising in light of the many great amazon reviews about the same product, the cost of the product, and the company's good online reputation.
For the price, I was hoping for better quality, but it seems like the company is working to make it right.

The headphones do not bleed a click track into a live microphone
When I scrolled down to the bottom of the page and found that they had several white noise MP3 tracks available for download, I knew the promise of "Extreme Isolation" was too good to be true, and I decided to pass

Jimmy Rainsford recommended these headphones to me, he is a fellow drummer, so i bought them, at a good price, $114
I didn't like that the active isolation circuit (which creates an annoying hiss) has to be engaged all the time (or the headphones don't work), and I didn't like the price, which is about 3X higher than the Extreme Isolation 'phones
definitely not worth the price
Basically the are very user repairable for a reasonable price
Unfortunately, the noise isolation of these was not very good compared to noise cancelling headphones (although this might depend on the type of noise), moreover, this is a flimsy piece of kit
A little tight on the head, but the noise isolation is incredible, sound quality is excellent, and I still use them today and love them

Other than that, they were comfortable, the noise isolation was great for me in my office environment, and the sound quality was good
Although the EX29 headphones fared slightly above average in noise isolation, they did not live up to their namesake
Extreme isolation implies one thing while actually providing less than extreme isolation.
i took good care of them, basically taking them on and off was too stressful for the fragile things
These things sound good and they do a solid job of isolating outside sound
The band and the arms that attach it to the ear cups are made from the same brittle black plastic that I remember breaking on a few cheaply-manufactured things I've owned in the past
These things isolate next to nothing while behind the kit
It is made out of cheap hard plastic that feels uncomfortable and breaks easily
Sure, the headband is flexible, but it is still made from cheap plastic.
The company is aware of this and have switched to a much improved plastic that is moldable and nearly impossible to break ("Incrediflex" I believe it is called).

The headphones are made of cheap plastic and should not be purchased until they are made of something stronger.
The reason for my rating of 4 stars is I evaluated these headphones in 2 different applications --5 stars for comfortable sound isolation when recording an instrument in a noisy environment
The point is that these headphones have way, way better sound quality *in a noisy environment* than the alternatives.
I would highly recommend the headphones for anyone who wants to listen to audio in a noisy environment.
I work in a noisy environment and the cheap ones work better for isolation.
I bought the headphones to use in a noisy office environment.
