Great compilation CD of the Eagles best works to that point

Eagles are a Classic Rock Band not a modern Rock Band Fred

This is such great music to relax to, especially when you're bored of all the hard rock and metal

The Eagles was one of the most influential bands in what is now known as "classic rock"

A casual fan, like myself, would have preferred a newly updated single disc collection of the Greatest Hits and Greatest Hits 2 material, plus a couple of deep tracks or new songs.

This two CD set is geared toward the more casual fan and maybe other people who are becoming more and more into The Eagles and their amazing sounds--and these fans won't be disappointed!

I couldn't think of one hit that was missing, although, I'm not a real 'hard core fan', as I only bought a few of their albums, first Greatest Hits and the Eagles Live - 1980.

The intro to "Hotel California" is garbage compared to Nickelback, "Life in the fastlane" has an annoying chorus that doesn't make any sense, and "Desperado" wishes it was as good as anything Limp Bizkit ever wrote!

Hotel California is a monster of a song, other super songs are Wasted Time and The Last Resort

I really love Wasted Time, The Last Resort & The Sad Cafe

On the bright side, this includes most of what you'd want from 1974 on, along with some overlong dead weight like "Wasted Time", "Last Resort", and "Sad Cafe"

I Should be able to BURN a backup copy from there or upload to a Cloud computer for use with the other gadgets I don't have!

I had lost my copy of one their earlier Greatest Hits and was very happy I could replace it with this one.
