this little guy is amazing, perfect size to carry with you every day, photo quality is top notch
To be clear: I did expect a decline of performance to the edges and that would be ok with any lense especially of this compact size.
Having had the X-Pro.2 as my only camera for over a year, I forgot that one of the main features of what made the X100S such a beauty was the compact size and the how effortless it felt to take it everywhere
There is so much to love about this camera, which almost does everything: beautiful images, great manual controls, crisp optics, compact size, retro film styling, Leica-ishness without the insane price tag
Ergonomics, perfect size (for me) and pretty rugged build.
If you love high image quality, good colors, lovely bokeh, and a slightly wide focal length, you'll love the Fujifilm X100F.I'm a young guy, but I got my start as a photographer on film cameras
This is an awesome camera, with amazing color reproduction
I enjoyed the face detection of the X100T and am pleased to see eye detection carry over from the X-T2/X-Pro2.VideoLike C-AF, far more useable than the X100T.
I JPEG, the colors, sharpness and contrast are just perfect and no post processing is required for me
Well, the X100f is basically a fixed lens mini X-pro2 with a slightly better viewfinder
But this x100f is way faster and takes just breathtaking pics
If you are a learner or novice like me, I think you would find the X100F to be a great
The X100F is a most worthy successor, and I highly recommend it!Unfortunately, I had an issue with the unit I received from Amazon.
I owned a Leica Q for a few months, and honestly I prefer the x100f as it's more portable, almost as snappy, creates files of similar quality, is a better value, is less conspicuous, and has a more useful focal length (and can add 28mm as well with the wcl)
felt pretty much like my X100T which I never felt was too slow.
So it's no surprise that 3 generations later they've improved a few things
Heard only great things about this camera and I’m a huge fan of Fujifilm, but the camera I got had pretty annoying barrel distortion (I made sure the conversion lens settings were off)
For good measure, be ready to spend hours with the instruction manual as well, if you really want to discover all the beautiful things you can do with this camera
One of the great things about this camera is that you can take gorgeous photos without a whole workflow behind it
The synergy produced by the new 24 megapixel sensor, integrated 23mm and new Image Processor Pro produces some of the finest image quality I've ever seen from any camera.
It's still my go-to camera for travel, because of its compact design and excellent image quality.
Same great build quality (still not weather sealed), but camera is slightly heavier and thicker than the X100T.
It has a wonderful quality build but it ends up a bit thick for your pocket and it ends up difficult to manage.
As much as I like my camera to be super compact and ultra light, I can appreciate the build quality and heft of the camera that adds a lot of its character
The film simulations are tasteful and burn great JPEGs, even at the "Normal" quality setting, below "Fine".There is no shortage of cameras that will take beautiful photos
It can take wonderful photos and videos that may require some post color correction for my liking but
And since I take it so many places, that means I take a lot more beautiful photos than I do with my DSLR.You can compare specs and talk about the shortcomings of the X-Trans sensor all you want on photography forums, but that misses the point

It is small enough to take anywhere and yields far better photos than my iPhone 7 Plus

This fixed lens camera produces excellent images and i love the film simulations but most of all i love the simplicity of this machine, sexy looks, and new found creativity this camera provides that my Nikon never did
Never messed with the xt2 or xpro2.All in all, it's a great camera, takes nice images and ACROS is incredible.
A little too hard a press on the rear command dial and one begins toggling through the focus assist modes of standard, split image, and peaking
The Fuji x100f is slightly smaller (and still a bit smaller than the Canon M6 + 22mm), turns on faster, has the optical viewfinder if you care for that (I insist on a viewfinder but not optical), does a better job with getting the right amount of fill flash to make skin tones look great, has the in-camera film modes, and a quieter shutter
This mechanical shutter is supplemented by an optional electronic shutter capable of speeds up to 1/32000, but it suffers from some rolling shutter issues, as many electronic shutters do, and cannot flash sync
As an extra bonus, the X100F uses an amazingly quiet leaf shutter capable of speeds up to 1/4000, and unlike traditional focal plane shutters, is capable of synchronizing with flash units across its entire shutter speed range
It's fast, the shutter is nearly silent, the image quality is incredible in all sorts of lighting conditions, the hybrid viewfinder is a pleasure, the weight and size is perfect for carrying

If you love point-and-shoot convenience, you'll love the Fujifilm
3.5Lens: 4.5Overall: I would say with confidence this camera is the best Fujifilm camera I've owned, easily
It bothers me to rate this fine camera only 3 stars; however, it equally frustrates me that Fujifilm, a photography-centric company going back to the mid-1930's, saw fit to hobble its usability in a most fundamental way
The X100F I am using has been updated to Fujifilm's current firwmare version 2.10.In short, Fujifilm removed the basic capability to conveniently and easily view and navigate shooting and preset menus on the rear LCD, in my case forcing me to view and change menu items by having the camera raised to my eye -
