I reinforced all the joints with some strong wood glue and that has got it a bit more stable for what I planned to use this for.
The glue it tells you to use is also a joke
Decent quality, you should use glue and additional nails to secure the back
I can absolutely understand why people who put this together themselves would recommend wood glue, it is wobbly as all heck when putting it together, so I recommend having 2 people
This is the worst piec e of furniture I have ever encountered on assembly and anything else
The shelf are wick and fall apart easily not worth the shipping
This is the worst piec e of furniture I have ever encountered on assembly and anything else
It is a great shelf for it's price, especially since it includes the 3 fabric baskets.
I went to Menard's (a hardware store 2 hours from us) and bought a VERY nice shelf for $10.00 more and it was amazing.
The stupid thing came with two top pieces, so one part couldnt even be put on, the rest broke while being assembled- two screws pulled out and broke a shelf and even a freaking wooden down broke one of the center supports while i was putting the middle shelf in

the little wooden knubs that hold the middle shelves are so brittle they'll break when you flip the shelf on its front
This was a tiny, wimpy, cheaply made piece of "furniture."The dowels are too long and drove right through the top and bottom "shelves."Not worth a penny
They are not the sturdiest shelving but they definitely do the
2 out of 3 arrived in perfect condition, third contained a broken skit panel (long piece on top)The reviews weren't a concern, since I was not planning on using them for furniture
POC-piece o' crap!!!!!
The product arrived un-assembled and after I had the thing half way assembled I noticed a couple of the pieces werent in good condition (not due to shipping, these pieces had been broken prior to being put in the box)
A total disaster getting this thing together and when assembled, it was cheap looking and not at all stable

The Grey wood look is actually very nice and not cheap looking.
it's super cheap looking and made poorly, but i'm fine with that
yes it's ugly and cheap looking, but we can tell all of this from the reviews, so it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.that being said, it completely adequately serves its function in my office holding some power tools, sand paper, acrylic scraps, and other gross things that i don't want touching expensive furniture
The addition of bins is awesome-adds a little character while also being very useful!
Hold alot of toys, as I purchased addition totes and my son loves the fact he can now get at any toy he wants.
I have it as 4 stars because the manufacturer could have done more quality checks to make sure no pieces were broken, however if you have some wood glue handy and dont mind a little character to your furniture then its a great addition and really useful.
😠 the wood literally split as I was putting it together!!
When using the remaining dowels, I could see how they would break easily, as the materials were all pretty cheap.
Absolutely shottie materials... missing parts.... very cheap product!!
Cheap materials that break when taking the materials out of the box.
The few recommendations I would give are:1) Do not use power tools, they're way to hard core for this product... the material of this bookshelf is not strong enough to handle that kind of speed and force you will rip right through it
This product is made with really cheap materials and the holes you are supposed to insert the little pegs aren't drilled deep enough so you cannot even put this thing together
Some of the dowels were missing, as well as one screw
The wooden dowels were all broken off into the holes, I was missing screws and one of the boards was split!!
The stupid thing came with two top pieces, so one part couldnt even be put on, the rest broke while being assembled- two screws pulled out and broke a shelf and even a freaking wooden down broke one of the center supports while i was putting the middle shelf in
The wood pins broke while assembling it, the screws cracked the wood without even being halfway in, and the boards are cardboard thin
Two shelves were chipped, two screws were missing, and one side was a
Also, be careful during final assembly, it's made of flimsy particle board
It's cheap particle board and the second you put the screws in the finish chips off
You have to be very careful with placing the nails in the back because it's made of cheap particle board and will split easily
Although it looks good and sturdy in the advertised pictures, the unit is flimsy low grade particle board and will not support much weight at all.
Several parts of the veneer chipped off during a very careful installation and had to use the stickers provided to cover the screw caps to cover up the very bright particle wood underneath
My second order I was sent this product and the veneer is warped and chipped, the cut is slightly curved...remembering my last experience, I'm just going to write off this loss and not order from this company again
I opened and began assembling the first one, the holes were not drilled properly and the screws went through the cheap plywood veneer
Upon opening the box, one piece was broken in half and a few other pieces had missing and broken veneer
My husband tried putting it together and got so frustrated after one of the screws, then 2 of the screws, then 3 of the screws cracked the veneer on the top.
Veneer had scratches and the pressboard had chips in several places, one of the three back panels was a mis-match, and the instructions were a joke
