Of course, the quality is inferior: wood is too soft, can break as you put screws in in the pre-drilled holes, but the structure does hold up, so you get what you pay for.
I give it 4 stars because it is a good value for the price
It is a great value with a good price..and it was shipped accordingly with no introductions.
It's a good value and ideal for a child's book collection.
It is not a real substantial piece, but for the price it is a reasonably good value
Like trying to construct a bookcase from toothpicks, like punking yourself except with furniture and your own money, like a class project intended to insult your under-water basket weaving instructor
It folds, so when it's empty, it will be easier to move than a more solid bookcase
Don't expect to be able to hold as many books as a more solid bookcase.

This RTA bookcase worked extremely well in our music room...great open storage!

but it holds up well to use and is good to tuck into forgotten corners and add good storage.
It's a bit smaller storage wise than the collapsed shelf it replaces, but it is doing the trick
You are reading snippets from reviews of Furinno FNCL-33001 Pine Solid Wood 3-Tier Bookshelf
The overall appearance of this shelf is pretty nice (from across the room it looks great) and while there's lots of little blemishes with the finish, for $50 you're not going to get perfection
My wife and I really love the appearance of these shelves, I just wish that someone made some high-end versions with no blemishes, maybe a little bit heavier/sturdier, with some extra parts (one of the shelves I bought was missing a screw)... full-size versions (6'-ish) would be great too

Most important (to me) is its appearance

Like my hopes and dreams of the relationship surviving, pieces of the shelf were crushed and had to be repaired, but still bare the scars of the trauma we all endured
The little pieces of wood that are meant to hold books arrived broken, and even if they weren't broken, there is no way they would hold any book.
We just substituted what we thought would work and thinking like the Chinese person who originally package this, we used a piece a chopstick and it worked fine
What am I to do to get proper pieces needed to assemble?Your assistance would be greatly appreciated!Thank you, Lori
Some pieces are warped, paint is missing, wood is not properly stapled together
However, as soon as I turned the first screw in this bookshelf, the wood completely split apart
The biggest negative I have is the screws are silver and gold so they do not blend into the wood.
The product didn't come with all the correct screws to assemble it

Easy to assemble, especially if you put the proper screws in the designated pre drilled holes
