I also use the watch for other fitness activities like running, biking, and swimming
If you want precise yardage and a great way to keep your score as well as one of the best fitness trackers on the market, then don't waste your money on the S6, get this thing
I also like using the fitness setting for other workouts
I enjoy it's capabilities on the golf course as well as a fitness tracker
Device has some positives and negatives, +ves; good stats on distances to green, hazards, etc.,, fitness and heart-rate monitor
It absolutely needs to ask about sand and penalties and how many of each on a hole to provide better stats.
Keep very good stats and is pretty much spot on distance wise.
I love the stats that is provided through the Garmin Golf App and webpage
Because Garmin doesn’t record putts and sometimes chips and requires the entry of the club used for each shot this essential in order to make the stats at all useful.
Aside from the accurate GPS and scorekeeping, unit tracks multiple statistics with various data syncing to the Garmin apps
For golf functionality this will give you accurate GPS readings to the green (front, center, back) as well as hazards
battery drains quick using golf gps.
If you want an awesome GPS Garmin watch, do not waste your money on this one
It's accuracy is certainly as good as my old (pocket) GPS, it is really easy to load courses and even if you don't loads for you when you show up on a course.
ALL fitness activities tracked with my daily food diary / calorie consumption linked via free app: My Fitness Pal by Under Armour.
The reason being is that there is an issue occasionally where a golf course is listed multiple times rather than just once, like it should when using the mobile app
each providing useful information in different views (prefer mobile app yet the computer version works well too).
Main notes here is that the app this interfaces with is very bad
each providing useful information in different views (prefer mobile app yet the computer version works well too).
LightweightStep tracker gives you daily steps, goes back to zero at midnightYardage pretty much accurate for us daily golfersClock v nice
First, this device tracks pretty much everything that my vivosmart HR did, including, steps, distance, calories burned, active minutes, heart rate and the very important "Move" function to get you out of your seat
Golf readout and options (like hazard distances) are easy to use- Heart rate is a great bonus (note it's directional with some fluctuations)- Sleep tracking is a very cool
Sleek design, good battery, heart rate is accurate, ability to track workouts, and of course the golf gps which works really well
it replaces my old fit bit to record steps and also gives me valuable golf info
As a guy you just want to enjoy golfing with your buds and not have to worry about hitting some damn buttons on a watch
I needed a new golf GPS as my old one was not supported any more.
The screen is seemingly durable because I have worn this doing heavy yard work and so far no scratches! The battery charge lasts longer if I turn off notifications and back-light, and set the screen to auto-lock
Cons: round of golf will drain charge so just need to recharge after each round.
A small annoyance: the proprietary charging cable is harder to attach than it should be; and 2) Bluetooth seems to drain the batter very fast
everything worked just as perfectly as it did during the 1st round
