She had been playing the flute for the last 3 years and wanted to transition to a different instrument for High School, as well as have better opportunities to partake in the regional Jazz band (limited positions for flute).
It plays well with their reeds as well as with a fibracell synthetic, and with their standard mouthpiece.
I would recommend a purchasing a separate mouthpiece, the cheap plastic one that comes with it just wont get the job done, and a separate neck strap as the one that comes with it isn't very comfortable.

The processing of registering the product can take up to 5 weeks or in this case maybe 7 weeks and nobody wants to wait that long to return a defective product
I really like the product as far as tone they easily can compete with my Yamaha 855
I would have never purchased the product (Glory Alto Saxophone) had I known that it was so junky and would stop working in less than 2 months

I was looking at the cheap horns on amazon to compare them to that company's design(to size up any cheap competition) when I ran across the Glory black nickel sax with silver keys.
I've been playing since 83' and this horn is good to me!
The horn itself, has a little more resistance than most student models
The horn is beautiful, and just like the blue one plays near-perfect right out of the box.
The first one I got was the blue with silver keys (I love that horn)

Great price and quality for a middle schoolers intermediate instrument.
I cannot speak for the other Glory horns as they are cheaper price and different design, but this one is a beauty so far.
I found this price and fell in love only to discover that the saxophone is broken and the middle side key is pushed down all of the way and now have to tape it up until i get the chance to get it fixed.
This is a great choice of an Alto Saxophone for a very reasonable price and a better quality
