The only addition we made was to add some felt to the parts that could damage the wall when collapsing it

Anyway, I can locate a stud without a stud finder - you can too - (no wall is perfect - just shine a flashlight up the wall surface an you'll eventually see a nail head outline beneath the paint SOMEWHERE.

the screws for the wall mount are weaker than tin foil... also the mount was not straight the tv leans to the left and it is not from a poor mounting job

Had it installed within 1 hour of arrival and mounted a 32" inch LED TV.

Hung a 32" TV with this and the TV was mounted somewhat high so the downward tilt feature was exactly what I was looking for
