The RTX 2.0 must be in transmit mode, you pair your speaker to the RTX 2.0 by pressing the power button for 3 seconds until the blue light on channel 1 blinks faster.
I connected the same speaker and the audio stream never broke up whether on front patio, in garage or back patio the audio was solid.

Beyond this, a great device that works connecting to a TV or speaker.
This device saved me time and money, and it works great.
HOWEVER, both speakers limited this device to SBC mode which means there was a VERY noticeable delay between the daisy-chain output and the BT speakers--to the tune of 150-200 ms.
The logitech just uses a series of tones to reflect connection status, while this device uses voice prompts, which is a bit nicer
This device works flawlessly, without any drops, throughout my entire home.

I don't believe the static is in the headphones due to the fact they do not have static when paired to the two other devices I use it with.

This new unit does work with "line out" on my receiver but not sensitive enough to work with the pre-amp out
Possible that I recieved a defective unit It would not effectively transmit from an inside windowsill (my windows have PLASTIC screens, not metal) out a distance of 15 feet to my BT patio speaker without constantly dropping out or breaking up, not EVEN 15 FEET.
