Norn9: Var Commons - PlayStation Vita - 2024 report by Whydis
Norn9: Var Commons - PlayStation Vita
Welcome to a world beyond imagination. Peace rules all. War and famine are relics of the past. Traverse a utopian world where your choices and relationships forge the path before you
Beautiful art, music and those small animation you get from the characters
Norn9 has definitely become one of my favorites: great music and art, sleek and easy-to-navigate interface, an intriguing premise and absolutely endearing characters
This game has excellent voice actors (voices are in japanese), beautiful art, and wonderful music
This is a great otome game, and I highly recommend it if you like the genre or if it looks interesting!Art: The art was absolutely beautiful!
Althoughly definitely more romance heavy than Code Realize or even Hakuoki, the writing, great art style, and soundtrack will keep you engaged.
Masamune is a good guy, but I can’t see him as a leading character
Fun game, adequate story, hot guys: basically what I was looking for, so I'm happy.
This game is quality stuff, especially if you only play mobile or steam otome games--Otomate knows how to deliver when it comes to art, character interactions, and cute guys
My favorite guys were Senri, Heishi, and Natsuhiko, but I liked all of the routes for Mikoto.
Senri is my favorite guy for Koharu and the plots were done so

By far, this is one of my favorite Otome games (out of the handful that are available here in the west)
This is my favorite Otome of the year, this year I've also played Code:Realize and Amnesia
Of the three otome available in English so far (Amnesia and Code: Realize being the other two), this is my favorite so far
Each of the characters are very fun to play through with the usual Otome Happy ending, good ending, and for a few of the stories a different ending all together

I loved the character designs and I thought that they fit well, but the design of Norn—the ship—stood out the most.
I liked all the character designs and art, although there are a few characters where I feel like their design didn't carry well over to the CG's for their faces (ex: Senri), but I didn't feel that way often

The music is stunning and captures so many different emotions
The music is really pretty, and the story over all is great

If you play Heishi's route and you like him, don't play his bad ending.
I'm such a sucker for the childhood friend formula, so I loved his route.
I love his route because it gives you more insight on what he’s
Natsuhiko is one of my favorite characters and certainly my favorite route because it balances romance with plot and Mikoto's character building.
Honestly, the story didn't exactly wow me, and the only saving graces I found were Itsuki and Natsuhiko from Mikoto's routes, but I'll play any english otome by Aksys that I can get my hands on
Sure, he's a great character, but I was left very unsatisfied with his main plot and his romantic plot.
With a traitor on board the ship and the hidden truth about the World, can Sorata really find his way home?At the start, the plot was kind of confusing by how everything fit together.
The main plot or action-based plot (as opposed to the romance) is the most well explained and well developed in this route, and the ending was just so satisfying
There was a great romantic plot in his route, though…between Sakuya and Mikoto.
As you play through each route, you'll uncover different tidbits of information about each and every character as well as the plot
Itsuki's route was a fun ride, and all of the giggles and tears during the route made up for the mediocre ending
Meaning, to get a happy ending, the characters can disagree with their romantic interests and really be themselves without being penalized
The main plot or action-based plot (as opposed to the romance) is the most well explained and well developed in this route, and the ending was just so satisfying
(I mean, if you're going to have 9 separate paths, you'd think you could clear up all the loose ends across those paths...
