  • The romance is nice too, not overpowering the story but adding a sweet balance to it instead.
  • Plus the translation and occasional mistakes don't really bother me as much now that I got used to itEdit 2: the chapters are long and I feel like there's a nice balance between romance and mystery
  • so it has a great balance of both

Reviews around novel (5.00 of 5)

  • Another great visual novel from Aksys and Idea Factory.
  • But if you like visual novels, even though it's an otome game its still very good, with great writing and characterization.
  • Absolutely loved this visual novel

  • Aksys did a great job with bringing this over, of course there are a few typos here and

Reviews around art (4.42 of 5)

  • n’t feel repetitive and everything was tied together nicely
  • An engaging story and gorgeous art make Collar x Malice a suspenseful thrill of a visual novel
  • The art and music is beautiful and immersive (you see cellphones pop up, you hear beeping sounds, etc).
  • The art is great, but it is just worth playing through once (for me personally)
  • The art is beautiful and the story is extremely compelling.

Reviews around story (4.07 of 5)

  • The romance is nice too, not overpowering the story but adding a sweet balance to it instead.
  • n’t feel repetitive and everything was tied together nicely
  • There are some weired bits in the translation but nothing I can't overlook for this lovely story
  • While I like the story, I feel as if it drags on too much
  • So, as mentioned above, the story itself is amazing, which is why immediately thought of Code Realize

Reviews around character (3.86 of 5)

  • I noticed for instance, that one character still referred to the protagonist by the default name even though I had changed it, and a few other little glitches that I find distracting
  • The game was fun to play and getting toknow all the characters was fun to
  • Very good game, the plot was great and all the character are all amazing
  • The characters are great and this is an Otome game which men can play without reservation as well because it's genuinely interesting
  • The CGs are very pretty, and the characters are quite gorgeous

Reviews around route (3.34 of 5)

  • n’t feel repetitive and everything was tied together nicely
  • Played his route first, loved him first, still love him the most when the game is over
  • Yanagi's route was my second least favorite and I wish it wasn't locked
  • For a fan the gameplay is satisfying with a great deal of mystery in addition to a satisfying number of romantic routes
  • However, I've noticed that Takeru's route is a bit worse with the errors

Reviews around romance (3.22 of 5)

  • I thought it has a good amount of murder mystery and romance
  • The game mainly focuses on the main plot (X-Day Cases) but gives just enough romance at the right moments to keep players satisfied
  • The game combines a mystery element to romance very well and balanced
  • Overall I can happily recommend this to anyone who wants to play a murder mystery and romance game!
  • The romance is nice too, not overpowering the story but adding a sweet balance to it instead.

Reviews around moment (3.22 of 5)

  • Speaking of being reminded, the critical moments where Ichika had to shoot was like a rhythm game
  • Edit: I absolutely adore the moments we get to see things from the guy's POV which is new for me
  • n’t feel repetitive and everything was tied together nicely
  • Speaking of being reminded, the critical moments where Ichika had to shoot was like a rhythm game
  • But I will admit I ended up zoning out a lot during explanations about the crimes, mostly I focused on the empathy moments, and I would've liked a little more romance

Reviews around end (1.49 of 5)

  • There are a lot of bad ends, I was pretty surprised and after I got all the main ones and a few
  • One thing I will mention, if you're stuck on the shooting part and keep getting a bad end, remember not to fire until the red circle lines up
  • I also wish Shirashi's good ending was better, but it's not like it could've ended any other way I guess
  • Just a warning, Enomoto & Sasazuka main bad ends aren't really that bad, but Okazaki & Shirashi's are dark, really dark (but I actually really liked them...)
  • Also, at one point in the game, an extremely important dialogue choice has an error in it which leads to a bad ending.

  • I highly recommend Collar x Malice because it's such an interesting read.
  • If you are a fan of otomes and visual novels, you really need to ahve Collar X Malice in your collection.
  • I really wish otome games would have an option were you just speed jump to choices rather than having to fast forward through so much dialogue, Collar x Malice has long chapters which was
  • I'm really glad this got localized and hope to see the fan disk, Collar X Malice Unlimted brought over in the future.
