remote feels perfect in the hand and the buttons have a great feel to them

Voice support works very well and the remote has a nice feel and design to it that facilitates its use without have to look at it

Basically a really nice fire TV remote (those work on shield too)

It just works more like a traditional TV remote, which I appreciate

Volume slider control does not work on my nVidia K1 Shield Tablet (only Shield TV) as per nVidia customer service, they say not compatible

The best feature is that you can plug in a set of headphones in the remote and listen to what your watching with out disturbing others if needed.

BUT one of the most important features doesn't work, Voice search

The game controller has voice search as well so 0 need for this

minus the problem with the voice recognition its really good

Works well and Google Voice pretty well with some major improvements down the road

Very well crafted, milled aluminum, touch sensitive volume control, one of the best remotes I have owned, everything about the Shield is Incredible

The remote control is built excellent when it comes to functionality, missing several functions to be really good

Edit: I just realize the middle space in-between the aluminum at the bottom is a touch sensitive volume control!

It gets knocked down a star for being too expensive though

Great remote overall, only thing i would change is how the volume works as it's quite easy to accidently turn it up when picking up the remote.

It works, it just doesn't do a whole lot.

(That recent Sheild TV update also ruined a lot of good features on the console)

It's a very high quality product, sure, but it's ultra simplistic and lacks a lot of functions you would expect in something this expensive

Worked OK in the beginning, but after a month or so, it started loosing connection, requiring frequent re-connecting

Some steps may be useless but this procedure helps me to set stable connection

Also it loses connection from time to time even with full charge

I feel like it doesn't respond to button presses all the time.

Every time I want this guy to work I have to go through the tedious pairing process

The buttons around the middle button can some times be a little stiff and the volume slider is a bit awkward

Sometimes the buttons behave right, other times they lag, the volume control is just annoying

Also the voice search on the remote doesn't work all the time.
