That said, it's a great way to get rid of a second unnecessary stand cluttering up your stage.
This boom replaced my heaviest stand thereby lightening my load considerably
Even then, they would quite easily turn around the stand but would not fall off, as they prevent each other from falling
I would recommend this boom stand over the traditionally available stands with lever-adjusted sidemounts, also due to one more advantage - this one will also not dent or flake the paint on your main microphone stand although it is mounted at various different positions on the main stand.
Have a mic that would wind up sideways on a boom mic stand.
