Great value - I’ve bought two for myself and one as a gift
The center is slightly higher than the edges and this seems to exaggerate as the pan gets hot
, I love cast iron and as long as you treat it well it will out live you
The pan is wonderful for the task of steaming bread, as well as it would be if I continued seasoning it and made dinner or pan sauces in it...and I can always reclaim it with a piece of steel wool, because it is cast iron pan afterall
Modern cast iron cookware is not machined anymore, leaving a pebbled, rough cooking surface
If you really want to experience how wonderful cast iron cooking can be (and non-stick), go to that big auction site and pick up a Griswold, Erie, or Wagner vintage skillet.
Other than that, I have really enjoyed cooking in this one
The texture of the skillet is not got a smooth cooking surface to it, which makes it difficult to clean.
I've never had one good experience cooking with this skillet
First off, the instructions on how to season it are confusing garbage
Its Great I love the size
Unclear instructions and misspellings
Just follow the instructions and re-season the pan after the first few uses
Follow the (poor, rambling) instructions - preheat the oven to 350F and coat the pan lightly all over with a high temp oil and leave in oven for 1.5 hrs.

My attempt at seasoning the pan failed
The center is slightly higher than the edges and this seems to exaggerate as the pan gets hot
I ended up over seasoning it, tried to reverse the sticky mess, tried cooking with it only to have eggs stick to it after a failed attempt at reversing the over seasoning

This is a next category for cooking meat compared to non-stick pans
Its Great I love the size
I have several All Clad stainless steel and non-stick pans, but this skillet has become my go-to

cleans up easily I’ve only had it a week but using it every day preferred over my older pans Great for scrambling eggs or searing meat Goes from stove to oven easily
Fried eggs did not stick with only a light coating of oil.
I’ve baked fish in it without any sticking, made scrambled eggs in it, even made pancakes
Just finished making some scrambled eggs and yes it still sticks.
First time using this pan - bacon and eggs.....everything stuck ---terrible!!!
