From there we got it set up, the dvd player started, read a dvd, then the speakers didn't seem to work right, so we tried another dvd and the player refused to read

this one hucked up with the speakers.. not as great sound but it works............haaaa

Hooked it up and the sound was pretty good, but it only played the dvd in black and white, so we sent it back

However, after having it for a few weeks, it always makes this horrid grinding sound, like the dvd player was on (which I NEVER use, I'm more of a computer junkie and everything I use I use through my tower, this was just for sound)

I hooked up an old 6 disc cd component and with the aux jack my MP3 and Kindle prime music I got a nice little system

After 20 minutes of stupid things I already tried prior to calling I was told because I don't have a receipt (it was a gift) and the unit was made 18 months
