Substandard instrument
The only musical instrument I can play is the trumpet which only has three buttons, so this might be a less daunting task if you have already learned to play a similarly-buttoned instrument like the clarinet or flute.
This instrument will never be great for playing Bach or Dufay, but as a cheap instrument to hand out to kids, it is hard to beat
