These are sturdy, well-built desks, and the tops of them are smooth and very easy to write on

The height is adjustable, even though it is not an easy adjust that would be done several times a day at all

Once assembled, you will need to adjust the height to the correct height for your child.

I have three children (8, 8, 10) and they all enjoy working at the desk

The foot rest is a great option on this desk

I have 2 of these for my students in my classroom, they have been a great option for my fidgety students to use

As a result, my classroom has even more flexible seating options now for my students

My ideal room would have a complete set of these, but with 37 kids in a class, that isn't going to happen just yet!I love that the kids can gather there and have a partner work with them, or that they can use it as a platform for work with multiple kids, or that they can pull a chair up and sit behind them.

The shelf at the bottom of the desk is handy for storing items.

I like the storage compartments as well as the book shelf to hold all his supplies

These desks are easy to put together, and have this clever little swinging bar on the end to keep busy students motivated, while at the same time burning off some energy

We have told students not to stand on the bar, but why not just use a solid metal bar that would not pop out with half the body weight of an 11 year old? 2

The bar at the bottom is great but tends to fall out a lot of rocked too much.

The plastic washer holding the swinging foot bar in place wore out, cracked and broke off leaving the bar to make a loud squeaking noise when used and prone to coming out making a huge metal clunking noise that distracts the entire class

The swing bar is made of hollow metal tubing such that a 6th grader putting 50 lbs of their body weight on it causes it to deflect at the bottom and thereby contract the bar resulting in it popping out of its mounting on the frame - and to fall to the floor with a loud bang - disturbing the whole class

My class and I are completely frustrated that we will have to send it back, yet again
