Good tight fit, but not too tight where you can't pull out your phone to clean

Great fit and love how well the case buttons work for the power, volume, and Bixby

As for the case, it's taken a helluva beating, I'm sure, and the only noticeable damage is worn coloring on the back

Love the rose gold color on this case as well as the added plus of a kickstand on the back

Spigen Tough Armor never lets me down...complete protection of my phone never have to worry about dropping it

They are not bulky or too thick but provide good protection to all corners of the phone.

Adds some protection but the air tech is just hollowed out corners so not much confidence in that to help protect the phone.

I have had great protection with multiple drops from the same case on my S5 and S7, but this case doesn't protect the S8 very well.

Sleek, good looking case that should be quite protective.

Also some people have said it has a sparkle/glitter finish that they do not like, but I disagree with them and think the look is nearly matte with nearly no sparkle at all

I've not dropped my phone to test the protection level, but it's at least a nice looking case.

The kick stand on the back of the phone is a solid piece of hard plastic that extends through the case making contact with the back glass

So then I tried this, and guess what?, it's the same thin piece of rubber with a hard plastic middle

The plastic outer protective case will scratch very easily but better the case than the phone.

It's easy to slide into a pocket, easy to hold securely, and it's safe when dropped

As far as drop protection, I've had one minor drop about 1 foot off the floor with no damage to the phone.

Case is still a tank and looks brand new, handled a few drops from waist height no problem

Took it's first drop today pretty well from waist height onto pavement.

Works fine, comfy to use and pretty durable but will not prevent screen cracking in the event of a significant drop or impact with the phone

Since I can't separate the reviews between the styles I am leaving 5 stars for the black but BEWARE if you get any other color but black the case surface is very slick

What also impressed me was that the outer shell that keeps soft shell snug did not pop off and stayed "glued" to it!

The hard shell males it easy to slide in and out your pocket while the case under that absorbs the shock

The case is okay but the color of the hard shell is painted on and after a few weeks started showing black scratches on the back of the case

Bought the Spigen "Tough Armor" case for my Wife's Galaxy S8 and within 3 days the outer shell cracked from the side to the camera cutout

4 stars on the S8 model because the rubber doesn't stick out past the hard shell on the back

Before this case, I had two different other cases (with screen protectors), and have had my screen shatter on me

There really isn't a way (for me) to tell if I'm pressing Vol+ or - and I keep hitting that damned Bixby button.

Other wise I was please it.

In addition, the annoying Bixby button is very prominent and has a grip which causes me to constantly accidentally activate the annoying Bixby.

My only wish is that the case didn't have a button for the Bixby button on the phone because Bixby is garbage and I hit the Bixby button accidentally all the time

Horrible case, doesnt protect, phone broke the first day I used it

I purchase this case in conjunction with "Spigen Galaxy S8 Screen Protector Curved Edge / Tempered Glass / Case Friendly for Samsung Galaxy S8" and phone broke on first fall

I wish it came with patterns and more colors, but I prefer a case that protects my phone over a pretty case that lets my phone break.

I guess it was just bad luck, but ironically putting this case on my phone broke it instead of protecting it.

Note: I do use a tempered glass screen protector in addition to the case.
