While the plastic panel is holding well ( I don't count scratches) , the TPU black armor is crumbling

It is very nice looking and does a great job keeping the phone safe

Kinda cheap looking once you scratch the plastic silver piece all up.

It does offer some protection against scratches and bumps, but if you fear dropping your phone or want screen protection built-in, keep looking.

I ordered this Spigen Tough Armor Case for iPhone 5S for my husband.

After several drops on the garage floor, I can say this case offers good protection in spite of its less bulky design.

and I have yet to be angry with their simplistic design!

I purchased the Slim Armor first (also a great design, no complaints) because I was worried about the circle cut out on the Tough Armor (as some other reviews have pointed out the wear after removing the case can be noticeable in the circle after some time) but I placed a small piece of clear plastic (cut from a binder sleeve) between the phone and inner case, and problem solved

The case is substantial but by no means bulky so the phone keeps the sleek design of the 5s remains

nice slim design, easy to put on, stylish yet appears to protect my phone very well, although I admit I haven't yet put it to the test

Spilled juice on face of phone and cover is perfect fit and protected phone from juice entering vol buttons.

However, the fit is a little loose for my iPhone SE and with routine handling the case comes slightly off the phone.

The problem with this case is the fit of the silver plastic piece to the rubber protector

Two weeks prior to ordering this case he dropped his iPhone 5S and shattered the screen.

The buttons are responsive and the ports work well with all of my accessories

The case would depress the power button and there was no way of using it

The buttons are nice a big for easy volume and power controls, installed perfectly with no issues on raising/lowering the volume

It hasn't deformed a bit, it's never come off, never broken, and my phone is in near-perfect condition.
