  • Was able to get free shipping so ended up purchasing two games for the price of one from the store and they were delivered very quickly and were of excellent quality

Reviews around play (5.00 of 5)

  • Super Paper Mario is fun, funny, and plays out with aspects for both old-school gamers as well as those new to the crowd
  • This is the first paper mario game that I have purchased and I didnt realize it was going to be so much dialogue and not enough game play.
  • Wish there were more worlds to beat/explore, but it was fun playing with my 6-year-old.
  • Goes more into the 3D realm than the last 2 but has some great game play.
  • In summary: great dept of story, wonderful game-play, and a fresh approach that never loses its luster creates a game that is both so surreal that it doesn't feel like a Mario game but literally couldn't be anything else.

Reviews around version (5.00 of 5)

  • It's more of a side scroller action game rather than an RPG, like the GC version was.
  • You get the best versions of Luigi, Peach, and Bowser; but you're introduced to a host of characters who are so well developed that it almost makes you resent how so many other Mario titles don't further their best portions.
  • I loved the the GameCube version and the 64 version and I even enjoyed the sticker
  • Sticker Star Video Game for Nintendo 3DS and really enjoyed that version although Thousand Year Door is still my favorite

Reviews around paper (4.73 of 5)

  • It's good to have some dialogue in a good video game, but Super Paper Mario over does it.
  • Super Paper Mario is just that, a two dimensional rendering of Mario
  • I'll say this right now, Super Paper Mario is NOT an RPG game like the previous games
  • But I had heard from various places it was a odd game and not as good as the first two Paper Marios
  • In Paper Mario 1 and number 4, you get the hammer in the prolouge

Reviews around gameplay (4.53 of 5)

  • Super Paper Mario is fun, funny, and plays out with aspects for both old-school gamers as well as those new to the crowd
  • Super Paper Mario is fun, funny, and plays out with aspects for both old-school gamers as well as those new to the crowd
  • GameplayThe gameplay for this title, in short, is fun and entertaining
  • If you like the original turn based gameplay from Paper Mario 64 or Paper Mario TTYD then you won't really enjoy this latest edition to the series
  • The gameplay for this game is extremely creative and fun, but I estimate that about 60% of this game is cutscenes where you have to read a bunch of text

Reviews around graphic (4.42 of 5)

  • 1) the graphics are actually worse than original mario 2) the game is loaded with time consuming text bubbles and short on game play time 3) the text bubbles are weird and poorly written
  • Super Paper Mario is fun, funny, and plays out with aspects for both old-school gamers as well as those new to the crowd
  • That didn't bother me (as you can see by my review, I too am wordy), and I rather enjoyed the dialogue myself
  • In 2-D, however, the graphics are exceptionally stylish and eye catching
  • Pros: Fun puzzles, great graphics and color, all your favorite aspects about the Paper Mario series

Reviews around price (4.26 of 5)

  • Now that it is at such a reasonable price, this is an even sweeter deal
  • So if you have been unwilling to pull the trigger on this game due to a higher price, now is your chance to dive into the game for a cheaper price and have unlimited number of hours of fun

Reviews around character (4.11 of 5)

  • Almost through the whole game, the only characters I was completely comfortable with were Mario, Peach, Luigi, and Bowser
  • I miss the unique characters like Admiral Bobbery the Bob-omb, Yoshi, and Koops that join you on your quest
  • There are so many things Mario can do in this game and so many things to look for, it will definitely keep you busy!Pros: Enjoy playing as other characters
  • The only RPG anything in this game are items, and the fact that after a certain amount of "XP" points, your characters level up and gain more health, more damage in attacks, etc
  • I miss the decidedly much more epic storyline and dynamic characters in 1,000 year door

Reviews around puzzle (3.80 of 5)

  • Easy to learn moves, bosses aren't too hard, good puzzles through the game, with lots of side activity too
  • This is a great game for anyone that likes puzzles and figuring things out.
  • The puzzlelike quality of getting from point A to point B using the 3-D mechanic is brilliant, and the puzzles were quite excellent throughout the entire game
  • Easy to learn moves, bosses aren't too hard, good puzzles through the game, with lots of side activity too
  • because you have four controllable heros to switch between, all with different strengths and abilities, the boss battles are fun puzzles in their own way

Reviews around story (3.44 of 5)

  • Also, the story really blew me out of the water, and i thought it was beatifully planned out
  • At the reduced price of this version, I think it's worth a buy if you like silly, fun stories
  • i'm not abig fan of shooting games so when i can find a game that has a good story and is fun i by it
  • Overall, I highly recommend this game to any adults or kids that want a funny game with a great story and puzzles that are just the right amount of difficult.
  • It's a good game that I like with a great story, it's just kind of tedious and tiring to play.

Reviews around bite (1.69 of 5)

  • To put it simply, Super Paper Mario suffers a bit from "Doki Doki Mario" syndrome (aka the US version of "Super Mario Bros. 2
  • It has a good bit of replay value
  • The only frustration that I found in 3D was a bit of difficulty in lining up a jump to hit a block or kill an enemy
  • Going into 3-dimensions and trying to find things that are hidden starts to drive you a bit crazy after a while.

Reviews around world (1.33 of 5)

  • The worlds were all good
  • It starts out pretty basic, an evil magician is trying to destroy the world, and it's very vague, but as the game goes on more mysterious things happened, more characters are introduced, and at the end, everything falls into place, and there is the biggest most suspenseful and surprising plot twist there could be
  • You immediately got a sense that The Crystal Stars are the keys to chaos and there's an obvious big bad at the end who wants to enslave/destroy the current world

Reviews around enemy (1.26 of 5)

  • The only frustration that I found in 3D was a bit of difficulty in lining up a jump to hit a block or kill an enemy
  • One lets you pick up objects and throw them, another lets you put a bomb down to hurt enemies or blow up blocks and another lets you shrink yourself down.
  • One helps you pick up things to throw them, another acts like a hoverboard and flies you across spikes and other hazardous traps, and still another gives you the ability to use a hammer to break blocks and smash hard-shelled enemies (think Koopas and Beetles)
  • Almost every enemy is just a minor object in your path because they're so simple to kill.
  • is that the view they give you here can make it somewhat tedious to kill enemies.

Reviews around block (1.00 of 5)

  • One lets you pick up objects and throw them, another lets you put a bomb down to hurt enemies or blow up blocks and another lets you shrink yourself down.
  • These range from a bomb to blow away certain blocks, to a cowboy Pixl called "Slim" who makes Mario paper thin to squeeze through super skinny pathways in the walls (Seriously, how genius is that?)
  • One helps you pick up things to throw them, another acts like a hoverboard and flies you across spikes and other hazardous traps, and still another gives you the ability to use a hammer to break blocks and smash hard-shelled enemies (think Koopas and Beetles)
  • The only frustration that I found in 3D was a bit of difficulty in lining up a jump to hit a block or kill an enemy

Reviews around look (1.00 of 5)

  • The characters/creatures are boring/incredibly stupid looking
  • Aesthetically, the landscapes are boring looking when you recall the 3D paper maché look of the previous games, and there aren't any hidden areas not required to get through the chapter
