This feels like the Super Mario Galaxy 2 of Zelda titles, where there seems to be an exciting new gameplay/puzzle element at every turn
This game is rated higher than even Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and every other Zelda game except for
It seemed washed out and gritty as if you were watching some sort of old movie on VHS
What gave me a good laugh was the fact that on the back of my case, there was a pre-owned sticker for Super Mario Galaxy
and you get the feeling that every area feels like an innovation, in much the same way playing through Super Mario Galaxy 2 felt like standing before a firing squad of brilliant new ideas

Overall, If you liked previous Zelda titles, then you will definitely appreciate Skyward Sword as well
Annoyances - Skyward Sword is a game that seems to be intentionally designed to annoy the player as much as possible.
Inconsistent sword swings.
It also gets annoying that the game displays each treasure item going into the inventory when you pick new ones up.-No voice acting: I would have liked to hear voices on my favorite Skyward Sword characters; some seasoned Zelda fans prefer to imagine the voices themselves, so optional voice acting like in Kid
While this is happening, Link conquers dungeons, discovers new items, vanquishes menacing bosses, explores three diverse lands (a forest, volcano, and desert), and unravels an ancient legend regarding the his and Zelda's fates
Okay let me first start out by saying that I love the Legend of Zelda series

History: this title is explained as arising evil and zelda legend behind
Love the legend of Zelda series and this one has to be up there in my favorites
Overall, no story, purposeless traveling, independent sections of world, bored 95% of the time, a total insult to what Zelda games should be
The graphics are great, as well as the story line, controls and gameplay
It has an amazing story and the motion controls are unique and fun
The story, while the same as every other usual Zelda gig, which is (Zelda is kidnapped, bad guy want's to destroy everything, go stop and save), is more meaningful this time around, because unlike the other Zelda incarnations, I actually care about this one
It has beautiful graphics, great game play, and a wonderful story
This game reminded me more of Wind Waker, its childish characters and simply story line
The controls are amazing, the story is wonderful and excellent as far as the timeline, the focus on Link and Zelda's relationship is beautiful, the characters are lively and memorable, the artstyle and look are breathtaking, and it's just flat out fun to play
It is a title that really loved and even though there are two or three details that did not like me, are not so important as to overshadow the greatness of this title
The characters are beautiful and the environments are even more beautiful
The characters all look very weird and unappealing to me.
Have beaten it twice now, the graphics are absolutely stunning
The graphics are great, as well as the story line, controls and gameplay
The story is good, the graphics are great, and it takes total control of the WiiMotion Plus tool
The villan was interesting and actually even fun, the different variety of weapons was also nice (I always like the different weapons across Zelda games) but I did feel like the controls were a little sensitive and compared to the earlier Twilight Princess, I don't like the graphics nearly as much
Not great graphics, but the gameplay and the story is great
Loved the game, very enjoyable to play, many good things about this one
Whenever I think of it, I remember nothing but happy and awesome memories from playing in my teen years, but when you actually play it... there's just so... many... horrible things that annoy me to death
One good thing, though, once that mole gave me the bomb bag I found
just to clear things up, my score is 4.5/5, not 4/5.I found SS to be a very enjoyable game
Flying is the coolest thing ever, but that alone doesn't make a great game
Even to defeat little tiny bug type enemies, you have to over-exaggerate the sword swinging motion
The "motion plus" is really fun, dispatching foes with more physical control than I am used to in a game (they block a certain way so you need a vertical swing or you have to jab to hit a small target on a spiders abdomen-that sort of thing). The story is classic and
The real problem though lies in the terrible Wii motion plus results.
No problems with the game itself, but cmon guys feels a bit like I got lied to.
but for a hardcore Zelda gamer, lower your expectations a bit and ignore Fi :P3.5/5
Fortunately it takes quite a bit to kill you so you won't necessarily get stuck watching the same cut-scene 50 times, but still... not being able to skip it is annoying
Although this is not totally a bad thing it would better with at least a little bit of freedom
Although this is not totally a bad thing it would better with at least a little bit of freedom
You can't skip this even though you may have seen the same text a number of times, which is a common problem.repetitive text boxes: no matter who you're interacting with, there seems to be a standard flow of 2 blocks of repetitive, inane stuff that the character says every time
the menu(s to choose what you want to do or buy etc, 2 more blocks of inane repetitive text, then finally you can get back to adventuring.repetitive item descriptions and instructions: every time you turn the system off it will reset which descriptions and instructions you get when you happen across collectibles and bugs
Why did they make the game where you have to go through hours of stupid, tedious and SLOW text dialogue (THAT You cannot skip) in order to be able to even start playing the game
