Plastic is lumpy and does not pull tight across my iphone face.
It is possible to use the screen on the phone through the clear plastic casing of the armband.
The clear plastic has a few scuffs but that's from nearly 2000 miles of running.
The clear view plastic on my item is rippled, not smooth, I could not touch the screen easily because of the part where the lumps are is not in contact with the screen.
For iPhone, the clear plastic screen is difficult to push/swipe to operate the iPhone

It fits my iPhone 3GS nicely; I am able to access the panel/buttons perfectly through the clear plastic screen; and it is quite comfortable and adjustable
The only minor issue is using the screen once its in the band
Because of this there is a gap between the plastic and the phone's screen making it difficult to operate
The plastic screen cover allows you to touch the screen pretty well, although it does take a little playing around with.

The clear front of the case does a good job of protecting the front of the phone, howeveer, its thickness, and the tight fit of a bumpered iPhone 4, contribute to it being a bit difficult to effectively hit the home button of the bottom portion of touchscreen
It's a bit tough to get the phone with the box
Some people have reviewed that they wish it was easier to get their phone in and out of this armband; it is a bit difficult, but not that big of a deal.
The one drawback it has (and this is to be expected when dealing with vinyl) is that it's a bit hard to get my phone out of
It is a tiny bit small for my MyTouch 4G, but overall it works pretty well and is as pictured.
