The good thing about this is the piece itself is very sticky and stays on your car
I like very much the company included two sticky things for the bottom for situations like mine, and I am very, very happy with the purchase.
Buyer beware!This thing couldn’t hold an iPhone X with a super light case on it let alone a 3kg anything.
This thing looks great and works better than I could have expected
Make sure you test out where you are going to mount it and that the swiveling angles are sufficient for you see your phone without glare or reflection problems, or issues with the phone edges hitting other things.

I really didn’t think this thing would work as I have an iPhone 7 Plus with a battery case, so needless to say it has some heft to it
so I just stuck the metal plate between my phone (Google Pixel XL) and the case, just below the fingerprint reader, and it had a powerful enough "stick" to the magnet that it didn't come flying off as I was making tight turns or bouncing up and down on rough roads
This mount looks awesome and holds phenomenal even over bumpy 4 wheel drive roads
Comes with an extra/replacement piece if you decide to apply the phone holder to your dashboard a second time, as well as for the piece that attaches to the phone
It's powerful and holds your phone over the roughest roads

I’ve never cared for the suction cup or vent clip variety as they are too unsteady and unreliable
I used to have a vent clip but hated that it blocked airflow from the vent
, I just bought their magnetic vent clip, which I wish I had done in the first place.
With my vent clip, I had to fumble around with the securing mechanism which wasn’t really difficult, but this is way more convenient
I've used suction mounts, vent clip mounts, and cup holder mounts, and they all work

Place the phone to the mount (Do not use the mount until 72 hours pass) Note:1.Matel/magnetic plates will hinder wireless charging capabilities.2.Please note that you will not be able to reuse an adhesive mount once you remove it.3.The 3M pad will lose its viscosity if you touch it with your hand.4.To remove the metal plate, please warm it with a hair dryer, then use some dental floss to lift and detach it
