I really didn’t think this thing would work as I have an iPhone 7 Plus with a battery case, so needless to say it has some heft to it
Ive used this with my phone that had an otterbox case on it and the magnet held really well and didnt not slide or slip off while driving or running over bumpy roads

I used to have a vent clip but hated that it blocked airflow from the vent
With my vent clip, I had to fumble around with the securing mechanism which wasn’t really difficult, but this is way more convenient
I’ve never cared for the suction cup or vent clip variety as they are too unsteady and unreliable
I've used suction mounts, vent clip mounts, and cup holder mounts, and they all work

Press the mount to the flat dashboard for about 30 seconds 4
Place the phone to the mount (Do not use the mount until 72 hours pass) Note: 1.Matel/magnetic plates will hinder wireless charging capabilities
2.Please note that you will not be able to reuse an adhesive mount once you remove it
3.The 3M pad will lose its viscosity if you touch it with your hand
4.To remove the metal plate, please warm it with a hair dryer, then use some dental floss to lift and detach it
