I had to use a 2' x 2' (x2) for the top and bottom mount due to living in a older home (non-hollow walls), but it holds well.
So to avoid ruining the wall, because we live in an apartment we had to hire someone and paid $100 to have someone tell us that the screws were not good
This is a decent wall mount for the price and if you are mounting a light TV.

Overall it was an easy install, and I would use it again.
It was easy to install: the instructions were clear, all the pieces were there, it is definitely universal, and it was very easy to hang the TV on it once all the hardware was installed
Install wasn't hard at all for my friend who had done several
Sagging forward as though we have it tilted but we don’t, makes me wonder about the integrity of the mount.
you can angle your tv in just about any way and the install was easy.
