The fit of the case is not obtrusive and the rubber offers a good grip; it doesn't feel like the phone is going to slip through my fingers.

The rubber provides enough grip so the phone won't slip out of my hands and looks like it will protect it well if dropped on a corner.

The corners are padded more than other skins and the rubber provides sufficient grip so one is less likely to accidentally drop the phone.
