Work's fine, doesn't have some of the more recent features our 2nd gen dots have like calling or the ablility to change trigger words, but the sound is good, the mics pickup our voices fine, and are great for controlling our smart home devices.
The alexa features work well overall and are augmented with the alexa app.
I love this product, it came very quickly, wrapped really well and works amazing

The biggest problem that I have with the Zolo Halo is that it's definitely not as good as Echo devices when it comes to picking up your voice
Once you set it up through the Zolo app you can then use the Amazon Alexa app to add skills to it and manage it just like the Echo's
I would say it’s on par with the full size echo gen 1 or even a bit better
The sound quality isnt quite as crisp as the echo dot but the volume and bass output makes up all the difference and at half the price!!

You must now open the app to stop, or have Alexa play something else like Spotify, and then ask to stop
The Alexa skills I used worked and I found the microphone to be more than adequate (it was set up in my office and it would pick up Alexa requests down the hall and stairs!).
The Zolo app allows you to do multi-room music with other Zolo devices but this is nowhere as easy as saying "Alexa, play music on first floor" like how I have my other devices set up

Alexa integration is excellent, and you can also control most of the popular music apps as well

for me this doesn't work well.2/15/2018 UPDATE - Not only did Anker reach out and admit that the skills on the speaker aren't quite there yet but they're working on them, they refunded my entire purchase price a couple of weeks ago
This is made by Anker who makes really good products at an affordable price
Overall a great price for a Bluetooth speaker enabled with Alexa features.

I find this extremely disappointing since the Eufy Genie, another Alexa-compatible device created by Anker, supports this feature

Much like the Eufy Genie, the Amazon-related services that this can run are somewhat limited, but I mainly use this as a guestroom/bathrooom music device , especially if I have company over for a few nights.
Does NOT however have the full capabilities with Alexa as an original Amazon speaker and thus not really worth it overall.

Funny thing, it will say it's disconnected while still streaming music
This thing fails too often, loses connection or simply is stuck spinning unless you reboot it a few times
