Micro cut is slower than a cross cut

Cross cut, easy to use, best shredder we have bought ever in over 20+ years for home office use.

It is the best micro- cut shredder for the money that can handle that 17 pages at once.

It handles whole envelopes full of documents without breaking a sweat and the micro-cut means even more shredded docs fit in the bags.

With the fine cuts and heavy duty strength, this will most likely be my last shredder purchase.

The unit has an auto shutdown feature which is nice from a safety standpoint, but can be annoying in between uses.

The true test will be after 6 months to a year of good use that will yield a solid indication of how sturdy and functional the shredder is, I will attempt to return and evaluate after that time.

I recently shredded 20 boxes of papers, and my last, not very old shredder died after 3 boxes

The box arrived with a little damaged but no damage to the product.

Shredder arrived in a flimsy beat up box poorly taped and falling apart, no inner box, pieces of shredded paper spilled out of the shipping box when opening it

The shredder came completely assembled, and was double-boxed (I had to destroy both boxes to remove it).

To help avoid that problem, I've lined it first with a regular kitchen waste bag & then put the thin bag inside of that

I ended up just using 15 gallon large kitchen trash bags instead of buying 7 gallon shredder bags and they work just fine.
