A very nice gift for someone just starting out with Arduino.
This kit would make a fantastic gift for anyone interested in programming and/or electronics, and would also be a great thing for parents/grandparents and their kids to do together.
Also, it can be a great gift to a kid who wants to learn or become an engineer, so I also recommend it to any parent who believes his kid is developing an interest
It would make a great gift for anyone that likes to create!
Perfect gift for those starting out and wanting to learn more.
Have had a blast with this thing and would recommend it to any one who likes making things or would like to start learning some programming or circuits.
I'd recommend getting two little cheap things just for a slight quality of life improvement with this set
This kit is the best thing for a parent that wants their kids to get into electronics but don't have the ability to teach them yourself
Not to mention, one of the best things in this kit is the book
I put 5 stars the only bad thing was that my book and 1 of the carton pices is damaged, but i guess it was bad luck or bad handleing.
It starts off very basic with series and parallel circuits and continues to increasingly difficult projects using more/ different components
Hopefully the projects will be just as nice and all the components will work correctly
the first few projects were awesome, the arduino works well. comes with a bunch of goodies
However, use the same components with hundreds of more difficult Arduino projects you find all over the web!
This is a great kit to start with Arduino, after 3 weeks I made my own project with the starter kit and now I bought a second Arduino board with other components to improve my projects
The book text is a bit small with strange ink colors that makes it a bit hard to read, but other than that, a great set.
There are lots of them, but most are very small bits of wire in many colors, and not many of the main colors needed - red, black, and yellow (or blue or whatever is your favorite third color)
solid hardware design, the printer of the book should be shot for lousy color scheme and binding
They also use strange colors and waste a lot of space that could be used for a larger font
