Then I saw the A T and T CL83207 which had all the items I was looking for including a number pad on the base, a large screen, call block, and answering the system
very pleased with the well lit handets and screen on the base.
There's a way to clear the screen from showing that there is a New Voicemail waiting (even when there isn't), but you have to clear the screen after after every missed call, and with each handset (I added an extra one to get three handsets total).
Very bright numbers, clear & bright name screens.

Very excited to have unwanted calls blocked and to be able to make sure the calls I want get through.
My 3 year old Panasonic had a 250 number blocking capacity which may sound like a lot but was totally inefficient.
This was the perfect solution to a) take control of voicemail (keep it in house), b) smart block solicitors and robocalls, and c) a walkie talkie system for the ranchette here is an added bonus.
After installing the AT&T Cordless phone with a smart block, all our calls are screened.
