For in home telephony, this set is like a Swiss army knife
The set that these replace is actually working without any issues currently, and the main thing I have had to change in the past is just the rechargeable battery
Once its set up, they remain steady, assuming u keep them powered.i can not comment on the answering machine option, as I use Cox voice mail and cell voice mail.

I'm not going back to a landline, and this Panasonic is the best thing available right now for turning my cell phone into a landline, that will never need repair service from the phone or cable company
This is a very good cordless phone system, and the best thing of all is that it has an option to store up to a few hundred phone numbers you want blocked

However, I would never ding a point for such... i mean, they are offering the customer such diversity, that is a good thing, marketing needs to catch up with product developement
The first thing I can say about this phone is that it works great
The sound is loud and clear and the range is good, so I have no complaints.
I don't think it says it supports that range, but I was surprised that it connected without having to set it even in the room with the base unit
Although the range is good, there are limits, so I'm careful to leave my smartphone in the same room as the home base, and it works like a charm
The batteries hold a charge a good, long time, they have a pretty decent range (I love to walk in circles in my yard while I'm talking on the phone), and I am starting to really like that they talk to me to tell me who is calling.
Works very well, good long range operation between Handsets, better than ATT.

I like that it's easy to use, easy to see the screen without glasses and easy to see what messages you have or missed.

I really appreciate the larger screens though as everything is legible
The phone has a nice big screen on it, so it's easy to see.
Great quality - DECT phones avoid the frequency band of your microwave and bluetooth, and work really well.
However, upon receiving it, to my surprise the sound quality was awful.
Having had these phones for over a month now, while the sound quality and other features are fine, our main complaint is the flimsiness of the actual phones and their holders
These phones are great quality, and have many features, for example baby monitor, intercom, call block, etc
I've had Panasonic land line phones for years and they were good quality
All in all a decent phone that I won't return due to the Call Block but Panasonic deserves a scolding for hiding the true colors both in picture and description
As time goes on I am sure I will play with and use more features this fancy Panasonic has.

If Panasonic was proud of the color combination, they would have pointed it out and made it more visible in picture
the system DOES NOT CLUE YOU like most answering systems
The system was reasonably easy to set up (provided you read the instruction manual carefully) and offers many features that fit (or may not) fit your needs.
Unfortunately we didn't set up the system immediately and missed our 30 day window to return them.
The tone and answering system are the worst

I purchased this Panasonic set, as we currently own a Panasonic Dect 6.0 Plus, which as worked quite well over the years.
I haven't had a land line for years, but in our new apartment the cell service is marginal - works most of the time, but drops calls often enough to be an issue for my home office setup.
Replaced a great working Panasonic set with this Panasonic set, we needed the call block feature for our landline
