Great addition to securing my Blink XT Camera outside my front door

While I would have preferred an after market bracket that didn't offset the camera so much, the need to be able to angle it for a precise picture of my house made a product like this necessary -

Otherwise, The camera housing is adjustable and it is a great addition to the Blink system,

and I highly recommend if you looking for a better mount at an economical price.

Had to use a few shreds of paper to make it a perfect fit

It was easy to install and was a perfect fit for the camera

They are a perfect fit, with all the screws and wall plugs you need and are very easy to fit.

These were not "easy" to install, though they seem to be a good fit and fairly protective

Easy to position, they maintain their position and are not shaky like others have complained about the blink mount

When the perfect position is found it's easy to lock the mount in place and don't believe it would move during medium to high wind speed

I found this mount much easier to get into the right position with little difficulty

I love blink and this is by far the best accessory available out there

This did the job well

These things seem like they will do a good job of keeping the cameras protected from the weather

They feel secure and I expect that they would do a good job of preventing water ingress.

I still gave it five stars but the mounting brackets aren’t that great ... spend the extra $15 and orders those with it make a huge difference!

Other then that design flaw they really are good brackets

I purchased this because the bracket that comes with the Blink XT is very poor

These brackets made installation easy, and once mounted, the brackets we're convenient to make adjustments to the cameras

Bought a single for my porch and a three pack for the remainingMounting the brackets was a breeze, putting the cameras in there new protective cases gave me confidence that they were safe, lastly screwing the cases onto the base and adjustments were a snap

I am still baffled that nobody has come up with a foolproof design to prevent someone from stealing Blink cameras.

If you’re stuck between the Arlo and Blink (like I was) choose the Blink.

Called Blink and found out not an authentic Blink product.

They make me feel like my blink is a little more secure in the weather and can’t be just ripped off and stolen

Finally, the case you put the camera in for this product is nice

The camera is housed in a 5 screw secured case that itself screws into the camera wall mount with a ball hinge

The case fits well, in that it is not exposed to the camera

The casing is quite nice and has a sun shield on the top to help shade the lens

Just yesterday, I had melting snow dripping onto the camera lens, and it obscured the picture.

The actual mounting unit itself is okay, basic plastic case with articulating arm, however the included mounting screws are very poor quality.

i am disappointed that for the money, the quality of the mount is so bad

I would have expected them to made out of better quality materials and maybe have some additional weather proofing to them

Glad I bought this for the blink camera for outdoor use I think easy to install and good quality and helps with angle of camera outside.

If you lightly bumped the camera it would disconnect from the mount

Some have a slightly larger cavity, enough to make the camera inside "rattle" a little

Yes, the camera "could" still be stolen from this mount, but it would take hands-on access to the mount, and at least 10-30 seconds of time or more

The cameras were the problem and had too send back for a refund

(Actually, the single screw that comes with the original Blink XT mount is just about the right size - so take that screw to the h/w store, and tell the guy you need x number more stainless steel wood screws in that same size)This mount will never come off accidentally - unlike the original Blink XT mount.

Great product but the screws are pretty terrible, they strip easily when using a power drill

It probably would have cost them a few pennies more to send it with stainless steel screws,

I ended up replacing these with Exterior Stainless screws instead (and yes, I did pre-drill the mount holes too).

For something that is meant to go outside and at the price point they're selling it, they should have sent it with stainless steel screws

The mounts are made of a sturdy plastic and are easily adjustable

The screw to tighten swivel is cheap plastic and does not tighten down

The wall mount though is another matter, it is cheap plastic, and is about impossible to actually adjust the camera to exactly where you want it

Nothing works as it should

This is made from cheap plastic which will unlikely last long in the Florida sun
