While you can't expect truly bombastic bass from such small "speakers", these actually do a really good job with bass, and the whole spectrum of sound

The only good thing about these is how they feel and lock in

They don't fully block my ear canals like some headphones do which is a bad thing if you want to block out other sounds

Doesnt sound as good as previous generations, the best thing going for them is the comfort of not having to shove them into your ear

These do require me to pump up the volume more than my previous active earbuds, but that is not necessarily a bad thing so long as you have a decent device you are using

Sep 2017 : 6 months after purchaseThe problems that other reviewers reported with volume buttons and microphone having glitches came true

every 8 months makes it hard to suggest this product to others.

My first pair lasted 11 months... not awful since they are under Bose warranty for a year

Only have had a month and volume controls no longer work

I have now gotten 4 months out of them thanks to electrical tape and an ink pen spring to lend strength

I had two pair of Bose IE2 headphones (first pair broke, left second pair in a hotel) and I really like them.

My friend's pair broke after about 6months of not so heavy use

I love the rubber pieces but the hard plastic is the part that digs into your ear after a couple hours I can't take it

They are perfect for running, sleeping, and just working at a computer because they let in the perfect amount of background noise and do not hurt your ears after long periods of time

Trying to listen to an audiobook while riding a bike is hard as the wind noise from riding downhill will prevent you from hearing anything for minutes at a time.

So anyone that wants to run or cycle will have the sound overpowered by wind noise.
