The mic stopped working a week into using this and while it is charging there is a static sound coming through the headphones

A return for a defective product should be an easy process, an apology costs nothing, Brookstone really doesn't seem to get this simple notion.

Dealing with Brookstone on a return was a headache, and customer service at Brookstone is pretty unhelpful

Their customer service is extremely aggravating and impossible to deal with

Volume controls on the headset do not work (at least on Xbox) and there is no mute
