I’ve spent considerable time trying to figure out the best Lightroom/DxO workflow, and this seems to be it, but if anyone has a better approach, please let me know!I have been able to obtain really excellent results, superb in fact, using this workflow.

I was interested in this camera for doing more than that and especially for getting better results in low light -- and for getting a lot of shots without eating up so much memory

I am by no means a professional, so it is simple to use, always ready, impressive results

I have a mild tremor and always shoot at iso 400 or higher with excellent results

This allows far greater control when it comes time to processing the image in your favorite image editor

Their PRIME noise-reduction is exceptional, ClearView for removing haze, the face detection Smart Lighting, perspective correction, dust removal, micro and fine contrast controls, film emulation etc. are really essential tools to get the most out of your images, achieve a more professional look

DxO has done an admirable job of creating a user interface that is largely intuitive, and offers photographers a lot of fine control over each shot.

If you want much better quality pictures and more control without having to carry a big SLR camera, I highly recommend it, it fits easily in your pocket and is not very heavy.

Incredibly compact and easy to set up and use, professional photographers as well as the photo buff will have professional image quality as well as control when the iPhone screen becomes the big, beautiful viewfinder

When you first attach the camera to an iPhone it prompts you to download a free DxO application to the iPhone.

First, the DXO got much warmer, almost hot which I didn't expect from such a small unit

For photographers who need to keep the camera on for hours at a time, such as landscape and nature photographers, the DxO One supports shooting while changing from an external battery pack

The iPhone will crash to the ground, the DxO will crash to the ground, or the camera's iPhone micro USB port connector will break off

DxO could make some improvements to the experience with some minor app updates, but even in its current state the app and the camera together are a great combination.

The camera takes amazing photos and takes up no space in my bag and can be used inconspicuously and not touristy

Then you can get very dark photo

Depending on the lighting my photos can be very grainy

Overall this is a perfect grab and go camera for beginners while still allowing the ability for more advanced camera users to dig in and manipulate photos.

A good camera combines good hardware (lens and sensor) with a solid user interface.

The camera saves photo in 3 different formats: Jpeg, RAW+Jpeg, and SuperRAW(This format is for extreme low light photos which takes 4 shots and merge them into one shot for better photo quality).

In serious photo shots where I want excellent and consistent quality

Selfie mode destroys the "professional" qualities of the camera

That said, since the poor image quality of the first unit was noticeable and should have never left the factory, I'll only give it a four star rating

No more do I have to rely on mediocre phone camera shots and hope to edit them so that they are somewhat presentable

Honestly, for this price, just get a good DLSR or a newer phone with the latest camera.

The design of the standard-length lightning connector as the only way to mount the DxO ONE is physically incompatible with a significant percentage of popular phone cases

crappy cases.. when you want to connect it to your iPhone

I also don't think this would work with a bulky case attached

One major downside is that the DxO One will not connect properly to the lightning port if you have any type of protective case on your iPhone

If you have a protective case, camera will not connect.

It takes sharp images, great low light pictures and incredible high resolution video.

Otherwise I recommend this camera for image quality that will blow your iPhone away.

Try zooming in to see detail of an iPad image, and the image quickly becomes blurry.

The app is garbage.. pure garbage.

The app also makes it easy to review, manage, and share photos, save directly to the iPad/iPhone gallery, and so on.

When the camera is connected to Iphone/Ipad through the lightning connector, app store will prompt DxO One app for download.

Hopefully with a firmware update, or the version 2 of the camera, will support video with higher bit rates and especially better frame-rates in full hd (as of now the best quality video is limited to 30 mbps and 30 fps).However, with the DxO One the camera, hardware is only half of the equation

The smallest feature set would make this an incredible video

I have 6S without OIS and there is a huge difference when you need steady video

Able to capture unbelievably clear and beautiful pictures or videos, the DxO ONE digital camera is an amazing development in photography

It stuck a lot, when u shoot a video and back to normal shoot the zoom will not work.

Works well but the usual complaints apply: battery life stinks and it's awkward to use.

I bought this camera for trips - those times when traveling really prohibits "photography time" but still presents an occasional opportunity to get something special

The average overheat time that I have tested is about 20 minutes

The time between photos is also a bit sluggish as it takes about 4 seconds to process a photo, but DXO have said that a future firmware release will allow burst of up to 8 photos per second, which is more than most DSLRs can manage

So it gets two stars -- but having to remove my phone cover to use it each time?That just sucks big time!!!
