There are many false alerts when using the Redline – a trade-off for the better range (although it is much better than most other detectors)
Doing awesome filtering out false alarms and has fantastic range front and rear
One would think that, with 4G almost everywhere and 5G ready to deploy, this thing could update over a cellular network
So the range is not far and away better than what you are used to but the bells and whistles--and ability to remove x-band false positives--make this worthy of an upgrade if you can find it on sale.

It makes me wonder if they're just trying to scare people into hanging up.)In summary, the Max 360C is MUCH better than my 9500ix, especially at automatically rejecting IVT (in-vehicle technology) like adaptive cruise control and proximity sensors that operate on K-band (I have no idea why the FCC isn't doing its job of managing the spectrum)
The IX in particular worked very well, except that it was useless at filtering K band from other vehicles (i.e. IVT, adaptive cruise, blind spot detectors, etc)

I currently have a Escort iX Long Range Radar Laser Detector, Black in my Nissan pickup – the best of the analog detectors, and I was using the outstanding Escort Redline EX in my Mustang until I switched it out for this test
The way it really exceeds the 10 year old Escort is with the ability to get rid of the false positives
This Max 360 is upgrading an Escort from about 3 generations ago and so far I absolutely love it.
the box was half open, it contained the used, very shabby “escort 360“, and not 360c ((,no charger, no wire ...
n’t go wrong.

It's not just about detection, but rejection of false positives
I might not pick up the road signs (sorta a good thing) but I don't get false positives either.
I have one false positive coming from a grocery store on my way to work and after passing it a few times the 360c learned the location and stopped alerting when I passed the store
The way it really exceeds the 10 year old Escort is with the ability to get rid of the false positives
Or if on a budget, the Escort IX has comparable real-world detection skills if you can live without arrows, and K band due to IVT false positives.
