It is reasonably fast, great optics, even has OIS - optical image stabilization - though it's light to begin with and except in near-darkness, probably could do without OIS

: I purchased a Godox TT350F flash for the Fujifilm camera, but have been unable to find a simple cord to connect the camera hot shoe to the flash for studio macro photography where I need an off camera flash
Now, it does actually come with a little flash unit which slides onto the hot shoe and folds up
Now some fine cameras have only hot-shoes or not even that, but today's do-everything and post it afterward camera/devices mostly all have flashes, including Nikon/Canon etc
(OTOH there are new powerful pro-level hot-shoe mounted flashes if one wants to go in that direction)

I would give the XT-1 4.1 stars and I wanted to like that camera more than I did, considered returning it but didn't because I really liked the compact size, the retro interface and Fuji's impressive lens line-up.
Best looking Mirrorless Camera- Pro Quality- Compact size (even smaller than Olympus E-M1 II and Panasonic GH5 which have smaller sensors)- Superb focusing speed and overall operational
Other than that, I love the size, weight, and quality of the camera!

lens is very nice, and was a good starter lens to learn the camera
The last thing about getting this as a kit, even if you don't see a lot of 18-55mm use - it's a mild wide angle to mild telephoto/portrait, for those who go blank with numbers, very useful as the one lens which comes with the camera, if that's what you want to have
- The 18-55mm is a really nice lens and definitely not a standard kit
As I told a friend, I've lost half the weight and doubled my resolution - with video, too, and images which are heaven to a photographer who has loved film and Kodachrome and the Fujichromes
While I love the images that I have taken while traveling and hiking with the full frame camera, it's bulky and very conspicuous in a crowd
The images are very crisp, and the controls are well thought-out
The images were sharper with better colors (standard setting)
Again, the Fuji shined, much less noise in low light and sharper images with better colors in daylight
She is still learning how to use its features but is blown away by the quality and intuitive layout.
and enjoy.-This was my first introduction to mirrorless, and having a silent shutter is great for discreet shooting and a nice feature to keep things quiet
Super fast focus, great resolution and many features along with probably more lens choices than any other mirrorless system
Little things like an option to start at the same point in the menu you left off is a really nice feature other cameras have and saving your custom settings does not save everything it should
