Stand works well for the non-touch screen but may be a bit flexie for touch.

As I type this I am using the On-Lap for the first time during a two week business trip in Asia in combination with my ThinkPad Yoga 12.5, and it's working really well!My use case is for longer business trips where, for better or worse, work must be accomplished in both a hotel room and the local office, and in the hotel, I wanted a dual screen dual touch setup.

The only reason why you'd consider buying this is the HDMI input which allows playing games and other GPU intensive applications (e.g. Adobe products) since they don't work with USB (non type-c) only displays

This is a great way to double your screen space for Mac laptops - I would recommend also purchasing the "HProprietary HDMI-A and USB-A to dock port cable" which simplifies hookup - without much tech experience in these arenas, I was pleasantly surprised how quickly the setup went - the screen quality is outstanding, the additional speakers are a welcome upgrade and the travel cover protects the screen from damage - the instructions were geared toward Windows10 but, as usual, my MacBookPro tackled installation quickly - I highly recommend this screen as a quality product that is a great addition for laptop travel

It can smash the buttons in, rendering them inoperable.
Also the buttons are incredibly stiff and actually hurt to press.
The main complaint is that the setting buttons are so hard to press that I thought they were non-functional at first.
But I read it in another reviewers comment, that the included hard cover that is supposed to protect the monitor during transport on my business trips, also impinges and crushes the most important power button on the side of the monitor
Also the buttons are incredibly stiff and actually hurt to press.
Extremely difficult to push, making navigating the menus a painful affair
