Super fast speeds and with the corsair liquid cooler it stays super cool.
Best single thread execution speed available prior to the 8086K (think X-Plane), and performs very well for multi-threaded applications as well.
Pros:-Speed (without overclocking, clocks in at 4 GHz for each processor)-Multitasking (perfect if performing multiple tasks on a screen, no noticeable slowdown)-Brand new (don't have to worry about counterfeits)Negatives:-OS
Don't really think this product need a review, except long shipping for 6 days it has no issues of installation or just using, super nice speed and etc, good for gaming and doing everything u need
Good fast CPU was able to overclock it to 5K easily with a few seconds, and support my 3466 MHz for my RAMCurrently running it on fair 4.7 GHz speed and the CPU is super fast, and the temperature is really fair on load, not more than 60C on load, some may think it is about cooling, but CPU actually involved as well, I'm using Noctua NH-D15 air cooling with it.
This 8700k run very fast and with a good cooling water solution you can
Yes, I could buy a new cooling solution (I use an AIO that's now just over 3 years old, I know this is what I have to do
Potentially DDR4 and a high end cooling solution assuming you don't already own these
(Well, me, this time...)Unfortunately, without a beefy cooling solution, you have yourself a radiator in the winter and a nuisance in the summer, and so I bought myself a box fan to set under my
So remember that if you intend to overclock, and you do if you're getting the unlocked K series, you're gonna want a good cooling solution
If you already own the 8700k your waste your money on upgrade to the 9th
You buy this supposed limited edition processor, with seeming-less unending stock, hoping that in the future your money makes available better processing power.
Plus it's pretty much the best gaming processor money can buy.
-easily overclockable up to 5ghz-Totally worth upgrading from 6th gens10/10 money well spend
Though intel processors are more money its definitely worth it
Performance can be great problem is only owning the product for a week I am noticing the idle temps is pretty high at least to me 40 to 50 c and playing farcry 5 can jumped close to
I've seen all the reviews for it and how great this product is but unfortunately the one I've received if not up to par
Will update this review with better stars once I get the correct product
They make an inferior product, but you get a lot more bang for your buck.-Launch of X299 -Sklylake X and Z370- Coffee Lake are two strikes against Intel.
rich Z370 Chipset is the foundation of an amazing gaming and work PC
and you've got the best gaming experience you can get for mid-2018.
all day 1.345 VCore 25-30c idle 55-60C when gaming and after beating the brakes off of it with Aida64 (after 2 hours of other benchmarks) for 30 minutes
We all suffer as we have to wait, and the price is allowed to creep >$60 above release & MSRP.-Forced to buy new motherboard
Aside from this, Intel still uses total garbage for heat transfer in Coffee lake CPU's, so my recommendation would be to buy the new generation about to go on sale this month - because for those, Intel switched to solder (which is more expensive, but also has much better heat transfer to the surface of the CPU.
Intel is an absolute pleasure to work with every time and easy to overclock
Other:-There is no avenue to reproach Intel and Amazon beyond these product reviews
now!)This platform (300 series Intel with 8th gen) is too good
To those of you that don't know, to utilize this chip, you must purchase a newer Intel "Coffee Lake" compatible mobo
Still the best single-threaded performance over Ryzen as of this review.
Amazing performance and the best competitor to ryzen's 1950x
I’m over the moon about this cpu the performance is mind boggling and I haven’t been able to make it stutter or hiccup once going through my daily routine
, I have windows 10, updated, I have a great system rig, but I guess intel is not the same performance is bad, is like this is just made for gaming and nothing else, I formatted completely my PC to find out if it was my pc or cpu
I updated my computer and this processor has an amazing performance...
Needless to say, this thing hums along nicely at 5.1 GHz with the RAM at 4133.
GTX1080 GPU.The sad thing is motherboard choice (and price) for now.
The nicest thing for me is the CPU temp, which went from around 60 degrees when idle to now 37 degrees at idle and a mere 50 under full load, and my CPU fan speed is still not maxed out
Out of the box, this thing smashes the performance of my 6700k @ 4.72 gHz
Another nice thing with this chip is Intel seems to be working on getting better temp control as this also seems to run cooler than the 7700K, both liquid cooled and and overclocked to 4.8Ghz.
the CPU was DOA , or something happened when I fired it up in the other MOBO that didn't support the 8th edition
Especially have to love the pre-binning that went into the 8086K Limited Edition
This Intel Core i7-8086K Limited Edition Desktop Processor was exactly what I wanted.
Look I know this is just a i7 8700k in a Limited Edition box, with a new name, and maybe a little cherry picking
You buy this supposed limited edition processor, with seeming-less unending stock, hoping that in the future your money makes available better processing power.
