I think they can just have fun now and can enjoy starting to learn to dance with the game as time goes on.

He joins us in the middle of it and then enjoys it everybit but definetly a good game and great fun to watch and match the steps.
Once you pick a song, there are three dancers on your TV (all these kids can dance, and they look like they are having fun without being goofy OR cheesy), and you are told to follow the middle dancer.
The game itself is great fun, gets her excited from choosing her own icon and earning stars, and gets her moving and even singing along to the songs.
I still give this game 3 stars because the songs in this game is age appropriate for my 5 year-old girl, and she likes dancing along with those songs, and the dance moves are easy enough for her to follow.
The dance moves are also easy for a younger child to master

The music is good, the dance routines are good, and the dancers are animated
Once Upon A Monster,Kinect Disneyland Adventures,Kinectimals,Fantastic Pets (XBOX 360),Dance Central, and so on, and by far the game that the kids (ages 2 to 12,) have enjoyed the most has been this one!The music is catchy and appropriate for kids of all ages and there are dances for the very young (just to get them moving) and the tweens and teens (with more difficult moves and faster beats.
Clean up the readability issue and it's a 5/5 for kids that enjoy music and dancing.

Dance Central is good but most of the songs are definitely not age appropriate for little kids.
However, if you don't, this is an awesome 'G' version of the other versions that I think are not 'G' because of the song selections and sexy dance attire.
Vine reviewers with kids between the ages of 3 and 8 were asked to review this game, and I think that's a good age range for Just Dance Kids 2.

The dances are all performed by actual children (as opposed to the virtual characters in Dance Central) wearing a variety of costumes, which I thought was a cute feature
(he's only two), but I think this feature would work particularly well in families with multiple children in the 6-10-year-old range or so

It's a cheap game, so you won't feel like you've been ripped off, the gameplay is simple to get into, and it has a lot of great features

It's a really fun kids game with a few issue that are fixable
The real kids on the screen make it easier to follow, and we found the dances easier and more fun than on the other dance games we have (while we enjoy Dance Central and Zumba, we are a little klutzy, and have an easier time with this one)
I can see the kids getting frustrated with the menu
great game kid loved it especially making her own videoalt of fun for all ages really got into it
