As it is, the thing is almost useless to me, so the low price is still too much for something I can't use
This thing is just too much fun

As a full kit substitute (using the high hat controller and kick drum inputs) for much smaller duo gigs where my regular kits are overwhelming
However it does a lot more and can be expanded to a very portable drum kit
i wouldn't quite call it "pro" equipment, however it is a great compact kit if you hook a kick trigger and a hihat controller up to it (sustain pedal works as well if you are on a budget)
