In summary... this is a good value for money and a great device that satisfies ALLLL of the computing needs I need and some other things I never thought that I needed (e.g. drawing and graphics art work with the pen)

I bought this instead of the four because I just needed something super light (lighter than my MacBook air) that I could carry to class in my purse

Super light compared to my old laptop, made my backpack much lighter.

I did purchase the keyboard for the Pro 4 and it works fine on the Pro 3.

The compact keyboard takes some retraining to use if you are used to a full-sized one

between the two, the touch screen stopped working, pen stopped working, would no longer charge, and the keyboard (which for some stupid reason must be bought separately) stopped working

Great battery life, convenient like a tablet but useful like a desktop (no walled garden here, thanks very much).

The battery life has exceeded my expectations so that is what matters for my needs

Battery life is good enough to last a day at school, at around 6-7 hours

So far its working great and item is as described with minor imperfections from typical use

It doesn't have the accuracy of a cintiq/artisul/huion/etc, so if you do fine detail work like I do you'll have to zoom into the art to get the pen precision you'd want

Your work will be secure, and will be accesible whenever you need to use it

Its fast, works well and no complaints but the battery is legit the worst

Although I have my own work proprietary software to review scan (STL) files, I have also been able to use the new 3D Scene built into Windows 10 as well

Hate that they updated a month later, but when purchased on discount this is the more useful computer i have ever purchased.

Since the battery is within the screen, running any applications that consumes too much power will of course overheat the surface

The batteries can become unreliable at times, and you can have the tablet shut off on you while working when its as high as 55%; sometimes you can fix the inaccurate readouts by completely discharging the device but that doesn't always work

This is an incredibly expensive tablet for it to be so ridiculously defective

The tablet itself and experience it offers is good enough, the problem comes when your battery will eventually become defective, specifically if your battery is manufactured from Simplo or LGC LGC

Personally I feel the keypad & screen are too cramped preferring a 15" screen tablet/laptop...but it is not for my use and she is very happy with it which is what counts.

It is probably one of the best laptops you can get right now, but with this specific model, you need to take care to watch out for it overheating if you want it to last in the long run (when it is overheating the fan becomes quite loud)

This is my 2nd MS Surface Pro 3 and without a doubt it is the best computer/device I have ever owned.

I just spent a day driving to and back from the Microsoft store, only to be told that my 18 month old computer is dead and that there is nothing they can do for me
