Bought 2 of these for a recent trip to the UK - only ended up having to use one the entire time because the 2 usb ports and the pass through outlet were enough for my girlfriend and I to charge our phones and a tablet at the same time

Having the two USB ports on the side was a great benefit

Love the USB ports but during my trip to the UK I couldn't use my hair straightener because the adapter doesn't fit polarized american plugs (where one prong is slightly larger than the other)

The USB ports come in handy freeing up the socket for other use.

This is a really poorly designed adapter.

The adapter worked great in France and Germany, but when I tried to use it in Switzerland, it shorted out and stopped working entirely.

If I tried to plug in something to the built-in, US socket, the entire adapter would also fall from the wall

This universal adapter worked well for me in both Kenya and Tanzania Africa

It was very frustrating using the adapter and it felt very unsafe having to use something to prop up on it to stay on the wall socket.

I high recommend staying away from this product, as many of the cheaper adapters like this do not work well for 2 prongs 220v

Worked fine as a plug adapter, but anything I put into the USB slots freaked out in a variety of different ways.

, It is super easy to use the different plug in on it and very durable

Pretty lightweight, and the plugs fold in or retract so the whole thing is simple block for packing.

Also, the plug for the cords was very odd and it was hard to connect into it...not very safe if you ask me.

You just push out the correct plug part that is needed in the other country

The European prongs are difficult to take out and are unstable because the adapter lacks a locking mechanism for them

The plug does not fit modern US prongs, where one prong is larger than the other prong.

The other prongs do not have this same issue but because I bought this for Europe, I came across it often

Most importantly, though, plugging a US plug in sparks and damages the prongs of whatever you plug in

However, it does not work on American, modern outlets, one prong is longer than the other, and modern American outlets are for one size prongs
