the mixtrack is a convient and adequate mixer no major issues

Trust me, i was playing with the mixtrack on display in the guitar center and i noticed after abuse the decks were near impossible to turn.....other than that it may have no flawsof course you arent getting a full metal sturdy mixer and 2 deck all in one package for 200 dollars but quality of build is good, i can see it lasting a long time as long as you dont put your decks to abuse, and as far as using it for scratching it just cant handle it

wonderful mixer, great for beginners and learning to ropes of DJing/mixing, I would recommend to anyone looking to start DJing

The Mix track pro is a great device for throwing partys and creating your own mixs

As someone who has DJ'ed for 4 different small events, this thing is great!

and I think this is a particular problem only bad thing that came to my equally recommend

I purchased this mixer and I was surprised with the things it can do, its really good for the price the scratching is not really that great nothing like the real thing but its close to it

It came with a cd to download Serato and she worked this lil thing like a pro

It is too basic and is missing things that i wish it wasnt

I still can't get the scratch to set to be almost realistic, but works well enough.

The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because it just can't compete with some other more intelligent scratch controllers and for the price I'd like to see it come with a full set of unlocked software instead of a limited version.

You might not think like this is worth the extra money, but trust me, it is.- Touch sensitive pads.- Average to good scratch

It serves well to training the wrist and fingers for good clean accurate scratching

Just make sure your laptop processor is fast or u have enough RAM memory to work at optimum conditions and the program doesn't freeze on you, a Mac will work best

It offers all the basic features you can expect in a light, easy to carry package

pro.it has a good solid plastic build and the onboard soundcard for headphones, output and mic input are all great features

The Serato software that comes with it surprised me with good features, good overlap with the controller's functions, and very usable effects

If I wasn't so happy with the unit the problems I had would have given the MixTrack Pro only one star

We ordered the "Mixtrack Pro" and instead get the cheaper Mixtrack model....goes for 75 bucks less than what we ordered

The Mixtrack Pro is great for learning and practicing beat matching and mixing songs in and out

I decided it was time to get my own cheap software controller to get started

Serato DJ Intro is a great software to start with to learn the basics

Virtual DJ LE not a good software, and buying full version

All in all, this is a good buy, even better if you have good dj software available.

Serato is the worst software that I have ever encountered also

Has a microphone input with a mic volume control so you can address the crowd but still turn it off when you are not using it.- Average to good build quality, feels sturdy enough to withstand travel if you don't drop it

Perhaps it's the build, a manufacturer controlled defect, a fluke, or just poor workmanship, but I am now forced to return this unit and will not be purchasing another from Amazon and Electronica Direct in the future

you can scratch nice with time and practice,its like the fader has a built in slope for mix djs,so you have to long stroke it a little,to get nice fades/cutz..if your a wanna be hiphop/scratch dj and do not need 75 features than

Overall AWESOME product, great response time on the pads, and just a well build and sturdy product.
