I've had several of these over the last few years and find them a good value

Would recommend for great value or pretty good speaker.

i ordered this speaker and it was stolen, amazon is amazing and gave me a refund and i reordered this speaker due to the great positive reviews and promise of great bass and CRYSTAL CLEAR SOUND, as a sound mixer, film student, and audiophile, i reallyy value thisthis speaker has a static and hissing on the higher shelfreally

But if ur as inexperienced as me about buying speakers and u dont wanna spend an arm and a leg this speaker is awesome! definitely super loud

This device was sitting right beside me on the bed, and I was so confused as to why I could not hear it, that I kept pushing the up volume button, thinking it was not at maximum volume

At full volume with a lot of bass the Ultra, like, suppresses the mid range

This works well, but has so little bass and not a great range of sound.

The Oontz Angle 3 Ultra is my favorite portable bluetooth speaker

I think more so for listening on a more intimate level sound is clear volume is loud enough and decent Bass!

Good sound, good volume from a relatively compact speaker.

The volume gets pretty loud and it has a pretty decent sounding base.

so I can't yet comment the quality at the highest of settings, but then if I need the volume to be that loud I would just move the speaker closer to where the party is

The only problem I experienced with it is that despite the rubber feet on the speaker, the bass will cause speaker to vibrate off the table (on a flat wooden table) and fall onto the floor.

The battery life is as advertised, and the speakers perform as well as you would expect from a unit three or even four times the price

water resistance is awesome as well, threw mine in the hot

Given the water resistance rating, I expect it will be able to survive the high humidity

Haven’t tried the water resistance, but probably wouldn’t need that feature myself

but it is a passive radiator for just that tiny bit of extra bass

Bass is very weak and the passive radiator design on these Oontz speakers seems odd

For the Oontz xl the passive bass radiator create a small distortion while the bass is not really there

Has great bass extension thanks to the passive radiator

The problem I have had had with all three units is the charging port on the speaker

My only disappointment is the charging port, seems dangerously fragile

Great sound but the charging port broke after one charge

is you still have a sequence of key presses and holds on the speaker to update the firmware, so the cable is entirely arbitrary

I tried to use the3,5 mm Provided cable but didn't work neither

l will recommend this to all.

So, there is a delay when they wake up and the first couple of words are lost.

It lost a couple of stars because it broke after only a month and a half due to light water

This is very helpful, as it means that I can view videos without the audio/video synch issue while working at my computer, but can have a second speaker located somewhere else if I want to listen to music, etc, in another part of the house.3.

Because of the video synch issues, I often would disconnect the Oontz Bluetooth speakers and switch to a third locally connected speaker.

The highs are well represented but not as crisp as I like

You will want to download the update specific to your speaker to resolve the audio synch issue.

Even if it only lasts half as long as the sound link I'd still choose this one because I could buy 3 of these for the price of one laggy, unpredictable Bose sound link

Customer service quickly emailed me a link to an update, but it did not work.

Did not like no link to gen 3, no where is this fact displayed .love all other features.

Not very satisfied by accident I dropped and something inside broke and makes weird noise

One year later the speakers are dead and make an awful static noise

And no, I'm usually very careful with my electronics but the buzzing was so bad that the speaker was essentially worthless to me which is why I took the drastic measure of hurling it to the ground

The first one lasted a year or so but developed a horrible buzzing with bass notes

Strange buzzing through headphone jack and incredible dull however you listen to it

For one, the whole thing rattles/buzzes when the music hits certain frequencies at any appreciable percentage of full volume.
