So far so good not bulky as the defender series but has same protection and I have a glass screen protector and the case still fits in the phone.

The defender series is thicker, but has its own screen protector that is incorporated into the design.

The Commuter is slimmer and not as clunky as the Defender series, but appears to be just as protective with the two-piece style.

The screen protector is soft plastic that peels off the phone fairly easily

with only taking off if the phone a half dozen times, the white hard platinum cracked near the charging port and a piece broke off

The thin piece over the charging port broke within about 2 years later the entire case cracked although I never dropped it

The case wraps around the front edges of the screen so if you happen to drop the phone flat on the screen, the case edging breaks the fall.

Plastic shell makes it easy to remove from my pockets, but also makes it a bit slippery to pick up.

The inner case fits around the phone well, the outer hard shell does not have as good of a fit on my phone however

Same problems as a lot of people, the slick plastic outer shell is cheap and broke above the charging port within 4 months of having this case

The soft plastic case with hard shell work well; don't have any issues with those.

This case is not only dual protection with the rubber case and the hard shell it is slim yet still protects the phone like only an otterbox can.

It's simply falling apart a little bit at a time and thats after a year of good use.

A good choice though a bit pricey - Otterbox seems to be the standard recommendation at Best Buy and Verizon.

Because the screen cover was obviously very cheap, I think a second one should have been included in the box because it's so easy to screw up installing the first one despite being very careful.

Screen cover was too difficult to apply properly, and I had to throw it out as it got too much dust on the adhesive side when I was trying to apply it.
