Filled with wonderful, addicting gameplay, memorable side characters and story, and a wonderful soundtrack that when all added together make this an unforgettable gaming experience.
Overall the gameplay feels familiar enough and there's enough new mixed with enough old that it makes for an enjoyable experience
That being said, it is an enjoyable experience if you have no desire to share it
That being said, most of the graphics are just awesome manga style stills and cutscenes anyways and it the lag didn't really impact my experience of the game very much
I hope more people play this game and enjoy the experience just as much as I did!
Overall its a really good rpg and will take a long time to get through.
I gave this game 5 stars because it is a very great RPG and you just must accept that the passage of time is how this is structured and embrace it
This is hands down the best RPG I've played since Witcher 3
Will not recommend if you don't like rpg
After playing 30+ hours so far, it turns out this game is the most enjoyable RPG I've ever played, and it is one of the top best game in my PS4 collection of 20 games
Strong story, characters, and stylish gameplay will have you hooked for hours
Great story, amazing visuals, outstanding soundtrack, and of course top notch gameplay

A robust story, unique interaction among characters, wonderful soundtrack, classic & excellent gameplay that critics have obviously praised it as one of the greatest JRPG of all
The story kept me engaged thought the whole game, gameplay was smooth, and the artistic style with the red/black make the game look beautiful

Great story, great soundtrack, sometimes dialogs can get a little bit

Im not into JRPGS, and this is one of the best games i have ever played.
So started off playing thinking "weird but will see" and after few hours in I was getting very annoyed on how you almost had no options to do anything but read annoying teenager dialog and asinine comments, entire days wasted for doing a single chore like laundry or eating
I'm not a jrpg fan, but this is one of the best games I have ever played.
I have seen many people say it's the most stressful game they have ever played because you just feel so rushed all the time trying to get things done in time for
After playing 30+ hours so far, it turns out this game is the most enjoyable RPG I've ever played, and it is one of the top best game in my PS4 collection of 20 games
Takes some time getting used to the game play and turn based fighting but it will definitely not disappoint!
so i highly recommend this game to JRPG lovers that love an great story as well as managing your time
So it eats up precious time and in a what's essentially a time management game its a major negative
Will I dedicate as much of my free time as I did before to doing it
If you're having a difficult time falling asleep at night, and you don't want to take medication, just play this game for a little while and you'll be sleeping like a baby.
This game is very very restrictive with extremely small areas, no exploration, tons of loading, and annoying and repetitive characters.
All the characters are great the story was fun and definitely a great addition
It's darker, more crime, more evil the main characters are facing but more strength and hope you can feel when you fight
Unfortunately it does what I find annoying about a lot of Japanese titles: too much story, with long pauses between gameplay, and exaggerated characters that become too disruptive to the experience.
I stuck with the game, however, and I'm glad I did because the characters are great, the story is
Given last year's political climate, the penultimate moment seems eerily right on time
If you persist through to the end you'll realize that those slow moments all add up to fulfilling experiences, which affects the entire way you feel towards certain characters
This leads to some very interesting dialogue and funny moments
Not even a game-breaker, but you don't have as many of those laugh of loud moments
awesome game best in series loving every moment wicked plot and game play must buy for any rpg fan amazing
As this is happening, you discover that you and other teenagers with chips on their shoulders can travel inside the minds of adults turned evil by warped desires and remove those desired by "stealing their hearts" so to speak
Each palace's theme changes based on the target's twisted desires, meaning that each palace is unique and different from the others
(the target's corrupted desires manifest into physical form, and the Phantom Thieves have the ability to break into and change the heart of these said targets
It's a game where you play as a Japanese high school student and in your spare time, travel to another dimension to fight manifestations of people's twisted desires
:In the metaverse, you sneak through palaces and stealth hit/ambush wandering enemies for a leg up in battleOnce battle is initiated it's your typical jrpg turn based system but with a twistIf you hit an enemy with move that's super effective against them, you'll get an extra turn to attack until your combo gets large enough where you get an optional all-out-attackAn enemy can sometimes do an 'Hold Up!' prompt where you can spare their life for money, item or have them join you as a Persona summon
Some enemies are even weak to bullets!Teammates can now also "baton pass" to each other, essentially giving your extra turn to a teammate who may be able to utilize it better than the current character
(when in stealth mode, trying to ambush an enemy often led to me warping around randomly with no control)
Can't attack using yhe enemy's weaknesses.12
Basically if your able to knock down all the enemies with crit or weakness hits your able to speak with them, when you speak with them your given the option of getting extra money, Item or they can become your new Persona.
Basically you change a person's "heart" by defeating a boss and stealing the Treasure of a palace.
, you face shadows or enemies made by corrupt adults which guard their evil heart in palaces (or evil manifestations of a person)Once you enter a palace you have a set number of in-game days to complete it before the corrupt adult does something to ruin societyOnce you defeat the boss in the palace you'll change their hearts forcing them to turn themselves in to the authorities in the real worldIn the real world, you spend time with friends getting to know their darkest secrets and may romance them if you further the relationship far enough
Through the magic of their personas, they aim to fix society one corrupted heart at a time
this is 100% subjective, but as good as this game is, it is lacking the immeasurable charm and heart from P4 or P4g.
If there were ever a game that stole my heart, it would have to be P5
Thus, The Phantom thieves are formed, a group set on 'changing the hearts' of corrupt adults in society
As this is happening, you discover that you and other teenagers with chips on their shoulders can travel inside the minds of adults turned evil by warped desires and remove those desired by "stealing their hearts" so to speak
If you played Persona 4 before there's not really a drastic change to the formula; you're still dungeon hoping while trying to balance your social life, but the changes made makes this the best and easiest Persona game to jump into.-StoryYou're a high school student moving to a new town trying to change the hearts of corrupt adults thus making society a better placeThe game is split into days where you try to balance your life in the real world and meta-verseIn the meta-verse or the dungeon aspect of the

Everything's great about this game, except for the fact that its filled with meaningless walls of dialogue about "rotten adults" and such
they bang your head so hard to make you understand that the "bad" guy is "bad" that is just ridiculous
A great edition of the Persona series, allowing you to relive your glory days as a high school lothario who everyone somehow likes except for the authorities, breaking into bad guys' hearts and changing the world for the better but being micromanaged by a talking cat who forces you to sleep all the time when you want to stay up
Within a couple hours of playing, it became very, very clear who the first main bad guy was and who the first few allies were going to be

Persona 5 is a game about the internal and external conflicts of a group of troubled high school students - the protagonist and a collection of compatriots he meets in the game's story - who live dual lives as Phantom Thieves
They have the typically ordinary day-to-day of a Tokyo high schooler - attending class, after school activities and part-time jobs
But they also undertake fantastical adventures by using otherworldly powers to enter the hearts of people
Their power comes from the Persona, the Jungian concept of the “self”
The game's heroes realize that society forces people to wear masks to protect their inner vulnerabilities, and by literally ripping off their protective masks and confronting their inner selves do the heroes awaken their inner power, and use it to strive to help those in need
Ultimately, the group of Phantom Thieves seeks to change their day-to-day world to match their perception and see through the masks modern-day society wears.
