The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is no ability to swim in the large bodies of water like I can do in Sp3 on ps3.I also recommend Spiderman 3 on PS3 if you can still find
I even played the last amazing spiderman game and loved it
This feature shouldn't have been left out of the amazing spiderman 2 game as this is also a free roaming game
Very colorful game and the time of day variations are really nicely done this time.+The great camera set up of the first game returns, making you feel more like you're in the game and playing as Spiderman thanks to the closer, over the shoulder view, which backs off a bit while webslinging.+More comics to collect through the city, to unlock actual comics to read in Stan Lee's Comic Shop
It didn't mesh as well as it could have and it took a while to get going
However, I thought I would hate the hero menace system but its actually pretty cool, but when you are a "menace" it can be a pain in the butt to get back to being a "hero" which can get really annoying
While the hero/menace system is a good idea, it leaves a lot to be desired in execution

In particular, Sam Riegel is a fantastic Spider-Man, capturing the humor and conflict of the character quite well
If you want to waste $50-60 on a broken incomplete garbage game, go right ahead, apparently Activision is enjoying some profits to continue making even more broken incomplete spider-man games as people that don't care or don't know any better are throwing money to encourage more bad games from them
With Beenox returning to manual web swinging and promising to expand upon the first game, is The Amazing Spider-Man
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was this close to being a great Spider-Man game, and if some of the annoying flaws were worked out, it could have been
my favorite spider-man game so far is still web of shadows
This, in turn, makes the combat get repetitive quickly, and furthermore, there is a serious lack of challenge in the combat
The humor from Spidey (even from some of the thugs) is great, the combat is decent, and I even enjoyed the story
The combat is responsive, and it works fine, but the repetition and lack of variety makes it nowhere near as fresh as the Batman Arkham games, or even other Spidey titles
For some reason, my favorite combat tactic was the stealth approach, and that's unusual for me

What made arkham city such a hit was that there was solid polished working game play mechanics and graphics
I am a spider0man fan, and let me say this is the by far the worst spider-man game I have ever played
The game play in the open environment (more on that later) is not consistent withe Boss battle scenes - it's like the different segments were written by separate programming groups that did not communicate at all
So far it's either great graphics and terrible conception and game play or great game play and not so great graphics and everything in between
Greatest product ever that I have played all very cool to have for the best game that I have played
While the hero/menace system is a good idea, it leaves a lot to be desired in execution

so, I do recommend any fan of super hero games to play The Amazing Spider Man 2 for some classic game play and open city action
The Hero/Menace system.
The bar has been raised pretty high for today's standards for super heroes by the arkham game series and a few
As soon as you eliminate the last bad guy, mission is over and you are back on the street, unable to get back in
In addition to stopping car chases and beating up some bad guys, there are also civilians to save from burning buildings, huge shootouts on rooftops and construction sites, and much more
system.+The awesome webrush move returns, allowing you to target your next place to sling to for more precise controls through the city.+Lots to see and do in the city, and more interesting with the Hero Meter, which depends on whether you want to fight bad guys committing crimes in the city or not
I just wish that the author would come up with some better themes for Spider man instead of killing the bad guys all the time
the poor gameplay with the unpredictable web-slinging comes back to bite you when you need to be stealthy in a mission and you end up accidentally web-slinging into the middle of the bad guys

You can rescue people from fires, rescue hostages from fast moving cars, pick up and dispose of bombs, rescue people from fires, fight street thugs, assist the police in armed standoffs and rescue citizens who are trapped on or under things.
You'll encounter the same few enemy types over and over: Unarmed street thug, street thug with a gun, street thug with a bat, street thug with a sniper rifle, chick with a knife (I think they're called speedies), and a fat dude that has to be stunned before hitting him
