These are new to me, but the erasing function works quite well.
I don't think the erasers work all that well, but as long as you don't soak the page, a lightly moistened paper towel or cloth works great for removing the highlighted area, and it's a lot faster and easier than using the eraser
When working with students, I share these highlighters (and pens) with them while they are learning note taking, annotating, and identifying main ideas/details and they LOVE them
These work fairly well on white paper, but not very well in books with recycled paper (which most of my kids' literature books for school are.)
The erasable quality is nice and does work, but the chief function to highlight things has been a big disappointment.

These work GREAT- nice vibrant color, juicy markers, and easy to erase with a little bit of friction (the eraser is the rounded gray tip on the back of the highlighter) or with heat
In addition, the highlighting does not erase as completely as I had hoped.

I got this because I heard how amazing Frixion pens,highlighter were from my friends
Because of the above, I would caution against using these on any documents where a permanent mark is required, but for most highlighting, these are amazing!One last thing, pilot does make green and blue frixion highlighters as well
but they are not as great as the other Frixion products

Amazing concept but after a few months the highlighing has faded away.
Interesting concept, product works well, but doesn't quite erase perfectly
This is a great concept, and it does indeed work, however the highlighter runs out of ink extremely quickly

Chisel tip is wide enough but sharp enough to be able to get good points if you need them.

Excellent product, students love it, and it saves me money by being eraseable
I really love the Pilot Frixion products I have bought every type they make
but they are not as great as the other Frixion products
I can only recommend this product to students who wish to sell back their textbooks, as the highlighter ink will disappear regardless of intentional friction by the eraser nubbin.
Sometimes the friction smudges whatever you highlighted, but still a really nice product.

I used the eraser on the end of a mechanical pencil and it erased the highlighter perfectly without leaving any smudges at all

The University where I work has a textbook rental system, and I had hoped that my students could use these pens on the rental books, but the text gets smudged in many books if you have to apply enough pressure to erase the highlighting completely.
The whole point is to be able to erase where something was highlighted and not ruin the text underneath, which is what this does
First, if you erase the highlighting, make sure the ink is dry first, otherwise you risk scuffing the paper
Third, when you erase your highlighting, the ink is not permanently gone

While they erase perfectly, and the highlighter ink works just as any highlighter does, they dry out very quickly--I used up one highlighter on a single, 20-page paper
But the eraser does not work on the other side it is more of a rubber ball and will just rub your paper away

It smears the print when using the highlighter, and the eraser smears it even more.
In fact, it smudged the print instead of erasing the highlight.
If you try to erase when it is still damp you can/will smudge the print.
